Because this music video is a continuation of paparazzi && at the end of paparazzi she gets arrested for killing her boyfriend. As you can see in the diner scene, they kill Beyonces boyfriend too, but accidentally murder the other patrons in the process. She's trying to make a story out of it. Also if the video was exactly what her song was about that would be just plain corny. Anyone can do that :)...
