I just got my new 2009 36 out on the lake, OMFG!!!!! I will never go back to bayliner and shakesphere again, I love the twin 525 EFI's, I figuered she would break 90 but I couldnt pop it, I guess it was the 8,400 pounds and static 31 inches from draft to kneel. but all in all im divorcing the wife n marrieing the vessel!

Our Pantera 36' model does not have a pad. Full 24 degree deep v with a twin step bottom and notched transom. The Mercruiser 525 EFI on the dyno are right at 550 -560 HP range. Drives on this 36' are shorty sportmaster Bravo 1 XR drives. Top speed on GPS 93 MPH. Boat is designed for rough water.

Do any of the Pantera boats use a pad?

I find it impressive for a 36' monohull w/ twin 525 to hit 90mph(I assume it could go faster?) Maybe I'm just not thinking right. How much power does each 525 put out?

Maybe the step in the hull allows it to do this so effortlessly?
