Ference saw that Halpern wasn't looking at him, changed direction to hit on the head in a cheap sneaky dirty play. If the Bruins want to play a robust, hard hitting game, I'm all for that. I love big hits. But that? That's just dirty. That's a cheap shot and shows a lack of respect for your opponent that I am tired of seeing in hockey.
Just want to announce that MrH4bs has been blocked from further comments here. Opinions on this play and on hockey in general -- even wrong ones -- are always welcome. But if you bash the United States of America you are dead to me.
@HestoriaPoductions i wasn't saying Jack Campbell makes the ruling on suspensions, but his dad does. All I am saying is it is a little suspicous that his dad rules the suspensions and the Bruins didn't get suspended this year
@MrH4bs Ohh please Halpern skated into that hit. Ference barely even moved his arm. I hope Subban and the rest of that diving team enjoy the links while the Bruins are still in the playoffs. And besides, we saved your city tax dollars by winning that series cause we all know how Habs fans celebrate winning a series in the streets!
@Josh218512 lol he ference obviously stoppe and moved his sholder right in his face. I wont argue with you anymore its a waste of time talking to americans that doesnt know shit about hockey...
@MrH4bs Well aren't you just the ignorant one. My nationality has nothing to do with my hockey knowledge. I've been watching hockey for 18 years now so I think I know a thing or two. Just cause you're Canadian you think you know more about hockey than I do? That's a crock of shit. You just can't accept the fact that your team is full of pussies that have to resort to diving to draw weak penalties to win games.
@MrH4bs Montreal is overrated with their knowledge of hockey. Eh, the Habs won eh, lets go burn the city. What? It was only the first round? Oh well, lets riot anyway. Oh, there was a hit, lets call 911, that is the most logical thing to do. Wah, our player got hurt, we are arresting you eh.
I really have a hard time believing this is Ference fault. He wasn't even paying attention to Halpern really he was focused on the play. Halpern obviously was doing the same thing and got the worse end of an accidental collision
if the Canadiens got protected by the NHL, Chara would have been suspended after his hit on Pacioretty. Lucic would not have been playing last night in game 7, and Ference would be suspened for his hit on Halpern. Plus Colin Campbell is just looking out for his son (Jack Campbell)'s team the Bruins. So great caption bro, makes a lot of sense
what a fucking dirty ass hit
