@247custard its the bubble and he has a tight image, 44 55 66 etc will prolly fold, depending on the suits big aces are races he tends to have the better of, so only like KK+ is an easy call for an amateur.

As someone says above he isnt worried about going out just before the money as he is only interested in playing for 1st place - shoving with 33 there takes advantage of players who are worried about busting just before the money.
