Wow man, I like how you explain everything in depth but yet you keep it easy to follow! You just got yourself a new subscriber! :D Thanks for this video!
LUCKY DATE! You killed it in MA with Aoki! Show was absurd and you absolutely murdered it. Also wanted to say thanks for the videos from an aspiring electro/house producer.
Cool vid dude, but was hoping you'd play the sound as you go along instead of describing it so you get the idea of what all the FX/envelopes etc are doing as you build the sound.
I've been trying for a while to create the "Bubblegum" synth, but it just doesn't come out right. any suggestions or a possible tutorial video in the future??
BTW, your vids have helped me out a ton. thank you.
hey man can u please send me a download link of the drum kit that u used for dat track? i really want to use that dutch synth thats playing in the chours....
the plugin 3xOsc of FL Studio with some gentle distortion and the portamento function will also be enough. But i think afrojack used reason instead of little bit cheezy Fl studio. Fl studio is good but not in proffesional use.
I'm green when it coms to producing, is the Compressor making the sound more even? I don't get the differense between lowering the volume of the synth and adding the compressor...
Congrats luckydate you're the king, thanks to you have learnt so much inside the electro production. Good luck , and PEOPLE U MUST GET HIS REFILLS, FUCKIN WELL WORTHY!!! boooooost
@thalilmacogangsta1 The technical name for the sound dates back to the early ages of techno when naming conventions for synthesized sounds first gained popularity. This particular synth (someone correct me if I am wrong) is the "12kHz squeek nasty drop builder" only to be changed in the late 1980's to its current name,"bouncy zipper lead" It was first heard in a Doritos commercial and became a widely sought after synth sound. Thank goodness LD revived the noise from its Cool Ranch (tm) roots!

Greaaattt tutorial.. finally I know that your using the initial patch.. i always wonder which one you were using.. And I loooovee the "numa uma numa," you did in the beginning" haha, hilarious. thanks again lucky for the great tutorial..
Just in general... I don´t know, if you guys are aware of that, that you can select in the Properties menu of reason, that every synth/sampler loads with the init patch. just sayin
@User846 It is actually really simple. Find an 808 kick drum sample and load it into the NN-XT. Set the root note to a low octave. Turn up to portamento and add a Scream 4 distortion (I think the tube setting sounds the closest but I am not sure). I am fairly certain that this is how the guys who made the beat (The Cataracs) did it, as I know they use Reason and use various 808 samples a lot, and it sounds almost exact. I am sure if you play with the settings more you could get it perfect.
Dude Great one thanks. ANY chance of getting a tuitorial on how to make Skrillex's Synths. The real monster sounding one. EG scary monsters and nice spirits. The real dirty one

@mimaxworld LOL! So your saying reason is more professional? If Reason is more professional then why cant you use vsts in Reason?
pppeeeppee 11 months ago
@pppeeeppee lol!!! I didnt know that!!! In that case Fl studio is more Proffesional. In video issues ProTools is definitely the best!
mimaxworld 11 months ago
@mimaxworld If Pro-tools is the best then how come you cant crop 1080P to 640?
pppeeeppee 11 months ago
@pppeeeppee hmmm dont know:P guess you have got to use Final cut or Sony Vegas or something. Its a video issue not a video format(extensions) issue.
