I have a manual and I love it the suspension is awsome stock little softer then M3 so more figiving for everyday driving but you can buy bilstein adjustable suspension with 7 settings for about 2k and make it as good as m3 if not better and change it to softer setting for everyday commute. I love this car M3 ...... Ya nice and better stock for stock but 335i is an awsome car for an awsome driver, 80 percent of the people will never drive the m3 to it's full potential nor the 335i
I bought a 6sp manual 335i xDrive a couple of months ago. Just bought eibach pro-kit springs. In a few weeks I am going to buy BMS JB3 PnP, AR downpipes, AE exhaust, AMS intercooler, BMS intakes and AR cdv. Later a shortshifter and dumpvalve will follow. Was interested in bigger turbos also, but that would be too expensive right now... I am goign to do more suspension work and bigger brakes first, the following year or so :)

Automatic is more popular than Manual transmissions on cars costing over $35,000. Thats the way it is in Japan as well, especially on European cars.
Also, note the word "probably" in my previous post. You should read more carefully. Also, who (or what) is "sportsfan".
