although i liked this movie....but i think it has some flaws..it the girl knew that there will be an earthquake and she has to save him ...y didnt she came early and took him to a safe place instead of dying there. anyways the ending was nice i liked it

How is this predictable? Everybody keeps saying this movie is predictable. I sure as heck didn't know this was an "end of the world" movie. Yeah, I probably knew that cyborg girlfriend would tragically die or some sad ending like that, but I was not expecting the whole 2012 scenario. Goodness.

Oh that last shot of the movie. At the midnight premiere of the movie everyone in the audience was practically screaming at the screen at the implications of that last shot. I will see it on kòòkica again for sure. But boy howdy did it have everyone talking.

I think they mess up somewhere at the end because the real girl he fell inlove with is way into the future after his death. Unless she decided to time travel and by coincidence they met in the past and fell inlove. (in the movie) the only reason why she come to the past was because she sees her image standing with jiro on the wheel chair. If it was just jiro on the wheel chair and she got interested in him and decided to go time travel to see how his past was than ill understand it.

okay what i didnt understand is why didnt she just walk on her hands to avoid the building falling on her she shoved the guy like fifty feet in the air and just watched the building fall on her. she could have easily avoidung the first chunk of building falling on her. but its cool how they did it

the reason y the movie is confusing because how could he had known the woman he fell inlove with when he hasn't been to the future yet. It should of been anther robot he build earlier and thats how she came in to the picture by intercepting the recorded image by the first robot he build, not her.

You don't understand how time travel works. when someone goes back in time and meets someone, it changes that persons experience to include that memory.

@codezeeky that's common confusion of any movies with time travel involved. It keeps circling. If she(real girl) didn't come to past to Jiro. he wouldnt make the cyborg. because he made cyborg, the real girl in the future decide to go to the past to see Jiro before he plans to make Cyborg looks like her. Because Jiro was fall in love with real girl from the future and disappear, Jiro decide to create her.
