I knew Jim Driskill very well. When he was called to do his active duty in the National Guard, that's when was invited to join the band during his absence. Jim was an incredible drummer. The drummer with the Roadrunners before Jim ws Ed Waynard, from Louisiana, another great talent! I remember Beverly, who I believe was Jim's first wife. I think I met Carol briefly, but I'm not sure
I had the honor of being the drummer in this band for several months in 1966. They were years ahead of their time, & achieved a sound that was amazing for that era....
@gsg47 My dad wants to say: "My aunt was Carol Edgar and was married to Jim Edgar, do you happen to remember her? Tall, blonde, blue eyes and loved animals" Thanks.
