of course u can always shift a motocross bike without the clutch does put a little more ware n tear on the motor yes but so does getting on the throttle the bikes are designed to be power shifted it wont hurt it just change ur oil properly and ul be fine change it often about every 6 to 8 hours max
I rode a 2007 yamaha yz 250 (two stroke) and just loved it. The motor had a smooth powerband, almost 4 stroke like. And it felt very thin and light compared to my friends kxf450. Id say in a drag race they would be even. But seriously, that yz was quick. I think it deffinitly competes with 450's on the track.

no way, u couldnt sell ur used cr125 for a brand new rmz250. also, you have it wrong, two strokes used to be much better than four strokes because of there high rpm and all that stuff but now four strokes have became so advanced that they are just as good as two strokes.

you guys cant really say one bike is better than the other cause you cant compare a 2 stroke to a 4 stroke, i have a 250f and a 125. but i dont know which i prefer, its not the bike its the person who' riding it.

This debate will continue for years to come, and it's all in what you prefer. But I have to disagree with you, I was a 2 stroke guy way after their day, but I'm on my second CRF450 and I'll probably never own another premixxer. Ride Hard!!!
