  • is the vibrato blocked? Or is the arm just for decoration?

  • you must like Gilmour and BB King so much!!

  • just have to notice that the amp is very great too..

  • very nice guitar

  • string gauge?

  • THAT SOUND

  • you rock dude

  • WOW isn't this guitar worth over $200,000!

  • @code0312 No...Like a few thousand dollars?

  • @AzArAzA95 but didnt Fender make like 20 limited edition ones for sale, like the ones clapton uses now

  • @code0312 omg! Didn't realize :D

  • @code0312 the ones your thinking of are the eric clapton blackie tribute guitars, they have been custom made with all the dinks and scartches that the original blackie had. this one is a NOS (new old stock) so its what blackie was like when new, still an amazing guitar.

  • Amazing sound and playing. How much for this, Greg?

  • Wow thank you very much. It is a bit pricy, could be the solution I'm looking for.

  • This is the tone that I long to have my eric clapton strat sound like. The vintage noiseless pickups just sound kinda "fake". Anyone have any suggestions on a noiseless single coil set that has THIS tone? Fantastic playing, by the way.

  • @sologuitardeath

Suhr makes something called the BPSSC or something like that, check it out. A noise reduction system that allows you to use whatever pickups you want without nearly as much noise

  • NIce, Greg, do you prefer 2 point or the traditional tremolo? Vintage vs modern?

  • Nice bear.

  • do u write your own stuff greg?

  • Sweet strat............ sweet playing man!

  • Wow, you're pretty good to find the right intermediate position so quickly :O

  • Great licks!! what's the radius of the neck?

  • Sounds great. I just ordered a 56 NOS. How much does yours weigh? everyone keeps telling me lighter sounds better. Whatever you have sounds killer!

  • What amp are you using?

  • Is this a custom shop guitar?

  • I want to get strat with fates neck possible, and as far as I know 56' series is when they made the fates neck, how does it sound to you, does it sound fatter? what do you see difference sound wise and neck wise in these two guitars? thanks for all posts

  • Hi,

Could you tell me which pickups are inside this one? Noiseless ?

    Thank you

  • the original custom shop pickups (not noiseless)

  • great looking and sounding Stratocaster... it's classic... the black Strat with a maple-neck... Cheers, PIT... :-)

  • Now thats good tone.

  • one of the best tones you have ever showed here. just don't like the 3 way switch, but that's easy to replace...

  • thanks, yes the 5-way switch is in the case

  • ash or alder body?

  • I don't know

  • probably alder

  • @WTig3r sounds pretty much like alder doesn't it??

  • @WTig3r alder most likely, if it's an NOS

  • 3 or 5-way switch?

  • 5 I think

  • look at 0:31

    it's definitely a 5 way switch

  • Exactly the other way: 0:31 shows it is a 3-way switch! Greg tries to find the position between bridge and middle pu and has trouble to find it, cause there is no notch! That's how players used to use the in between sounds before 5-way switches were introduced

  • hehehe, got it!

well, i thought it was a 5 way, cause my strat has a 5 way but still sometimes doesn't get in position.

    anyway thanks! :-)

  • It seems like he has some trouble getting the notched position which would mean to me that it is a 3 way and he has to fish around to find the notch.

  • 3-way!
