nice set up i have a nanopad and i use it with traktor pro works great. i love what you did with the axle folei joint i wish i had applton to do that live so sick bro how did you do the auto tune and what does he say
NanoPad = biggest pile of crap ever produced by a music instrument manufacturer. 2 x units DOA so I'm going to spend my time trying to do £60 worth of damage to Korg's reputation. Which is probably a drop in the ocean compared to the damage Korg themselves have caused. Avoid at all costs!
Hey, @KotroLaszloLehel, i've a question. I've read lots of negative reviews of nanopad. Poor build quality, cheap plastic, pads do not work or response properly, so on... I purchased one, so i need to know, is it true?
yo @KotroLaszloLehel how do you put samples in the nano pad ? and wich program do you use for that ? and can you make a tutorial or tell it in the discription ?
@MrMinusguy first I'd like to clarify that in the world of electronic music gadgetry plastic doesn't equal cheap, a roland jupiter is mostly plastic but they go for 2,000 dollars or more. With that being said I think the pad controller is excellent if you can't afford a padKONTROL.
@dogmancar Well, i totally agree with you. But plastic can be fragile, too many negative reviews on nanopad all over the net. I can afford padKONTROL, but i don't want to spend 250$, if i can spend 50$ and get almost the same thing.
@bbourke85 Still doesn't beat an equally priced proper midi controller. If look closely (read: at all) you'd see that chords and notes were manually mapped in. You can't really do this live without some planning ahead of time.
@spidey0102 Just go on eBay! Are you freaking kidding me? Sure it'll be used, but you can easily get at least a low end M-Audio or Novation controller. They usually even have a basic LCD screen and *gasp* rotary encoders or sliders instead of that nasty looking pad!
YEAH!!! COOL STUFF MAN, or lady ;P

@sarinoah nanoPad is only a controller. The sounds come from Korg R3 + Ableton Live for recording and mastering.

What are you saying in the vocoder parts?

@jmacatx Nothing (!).

Very cool. Those nano controllers are hell deceptive with what they look like, to what they're capable of

so actually you can do this with your R3 alone right?
wow, then if i buy my nanokey it wouldnt be useful as well, as it sound like midi
sad...
bboyliangwei 2 years ago
The X-Y Pad roll function can't reproduce with R3.
Check the korg site for more information.
KotroLaszloLehel 2 years ago
does this require a software or something? i want to buy korg nano already man, you have done a great job!!
bboyliangwei 2 years ago
Yes, device software from Korg and sequencer software (Ableton Live, ... )
The nanoPad is only a very good pad controller(without any sounds, only midi), the sounds come from Korg R3.
KotroLaszloLehel 2 years ago
Awesome. Was the vocoder controlled by the pad? If so AWESOME, HOW!¬
stjosh555 2 years ago
Yes vocoder (Korg R3) controlled by nanoPAD
