Hi im 275lbs 6ft.5in and im trying to lose weight and trying to maintain my mass. Would you mind giving me any food plans that would work for the situation that im in right now. I work out at the gym alot 3-5 days a week for 1:30-2 hrs.
Find you one? I can find you thousands! It's all about energy balance. Yeah you don't necessarily need carbs before bed but they are not manically going to hurt you or become fat because they are ate at night. Also before saying I don't know what I'm talking about maybe you should talk to the hundreds of nutrition clients I have had in the last year. Who are you again?
you only need to eat that amount of food if you are a serious bodybuilder, sorry but, based on your looks, you're not. you have no muscles, I mean NADA, so that's just to much food for you, it will make you fat. Bodybuilding is a process, start slow my friend.
@Versohnung Too much food? Watch the video again and notice at 1:00 the calorie intake for the day is about 2673 which is probably the amount of calories a dude his size would need to consume.
He also has the ratio's down which many other people ignore or neglect.
So in fact, he's eating the right foods, in the right amounts, the right ratio proportions and with the right time spacings.
Sounds to me like you think you know things you dont. Stop hating. Give the guy credit.
@brazendnb lol, not hating, I respect guys like him who want to improve their health. As far as me not knowing, I have been doing bodybuilding for 12 years, and he is not eating all the right foods, He has Oats as a bed time mean, that's a big NO NO, only foods that have casein protein before bed time (Cottage cheese). I'm not hating.
@Versohnung just by you saying "only foods that have casein protein before bed time" and no carbs before bed, tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge.
@huntfitnesstv lol, I can't help but laugh, just by saying that, tells me everything about you, Find me one bodybuilder who eats CARBS before bed time, 1. Don't pretend to know something when you don't, start playing soccer or something.
This diet is awful! Where are all the vegetables? Why don't you eat salads too? And you don't eat grains or whole-wheat either. Why not, if your body needs those too? This is NOT a balanced diet.
Eating all that protein when your body can't even process it, isn't all that smart. By the looks of your vid, you're not even pushing 200lbs in body weight, yet you're taking over 230G's of protein. All that does is result in unprocessed protein, which turns into acidic build up, which in turn causes your body to leach out calcium from your bones to counteract the acid build up. If you're doing it right, you only need half of what your are taking and you'll still get the same results.
Seem nice a nice lad but he isn't a bodybuilder, he doesn't even look like he trains. Also oats post workout really isn't advisable u need all hi glycemic carbohydrates
Looks alright. You could lower your protein intake a bit and build up your carb intake when you are bulking. And 1 banana is not enough fruit for a day. Don't forget to drink lots of water
bro you eat way too much crap no need for all that shit buy your self a good protein shake like elite mass or nitrotec hardcore jsut take ur shake in the morning with an empty stomack eat an apple 1 or 1 and a half hour later then eat half of w.e lunch you got ur self 2 hoursl ater after the apple wait an hour or hour and a half and eat the second half of ur food work ur ass off at the gym then ur protein shake again then now u have less crap in your stomack which means less fat to store
how much u weight??? ...i eat 3000 calories a day, about 200g protein, and about roughly 150 g carbs.....you eat way to much carb, by looking at urself...i don't even eat 6-7 meals a day, maybe 4-5 max....you don't have to eat 6-7 meals a day, as long as you get the needed calories, protein, and carb for the day, you're good, unless u don't do nothing and seat home all day.
@racecar142 That means you eat about 170 grams of fat?? It's better to eat more carbs when you are bulking up. They will get used to create energy or stored as fat, which is better then eating fat thats just gets stored as fat. Fat burning always incorporates muscle loss.
@haarlaklover i don't eat 170g fat, waaaaay less than that, eating 3000 calories a day doesn't mean i eat a lot of fat....i eat clean, plus i have low body fat, 6-7 percent....i run and bike 3-4 times a week, not in the gym, in my neighborhood,,,,,so even if i eat candies, chocolate, cakes every other day, i won't gain fat, because of my high metabolism, and activity,,,, but i'm raising my carb up to 200g, no more than that, don't think eating too many carbs is good.
@racecar142 If you eat 200 g protein=800 kcal, 150 g carbs=600kcal. 3000kcal-800-600=1600kcal from fat=170 g of fat. 1g protein or carbs=4kcal, 1g fat=9kcal. If it works for you it's good, don't change it. No need to get cocky.
@haarlaklover I gained about 7lbs of muscle within 6 months, that's with my 2600-3000 calories, 200g protein, and 150-180g of carbs a day, I never counted the carbs until recently, but i always tried to keep my carbs low, never count the fat intake either....I got bigger and leaner while a lot of guys in the gym compared 7 months ago are smaller and fatter.....Everybody's body is different, this is what works for me, and nobody can tell me that's it's wrong, ...cont'd
@haarlaklover cont'd....because everybody at the gym, and everywhere is miring my aesthetics bro....not trying to be cocky, but telling the truth....and i never take creatine, the only supplement i ever take is protein shake.....so, if what ur doing is working for you, THEN IM HAPPY FOR YOU BROTHER !!
I DONT FUCKING CARE ABOUT ALL THESE NUMBERS. Like i care if it has 30 g protein, i just eat what i want moøfucka, i eat lots of meat, and i never stay hungry more than 10 minutes. I just fucking eat, and buy pizza, fuck diet plans, just fucking eat as much as you can mothafuckas§!!!
@huntfitnesstv really nice...its good to see bodybuilders actually showing physically what their diet looks like..its somehow more motivational than just reading a list of foods on a website..i suppose its kinda like how dogs start to salivate when they see food..lol..looks much more apetising than a cooking list :)
This is an appalling meal plan for your so-called 'bulking'. It's more like a diet to lose weight. Where is your dietary fats, instead of just adding mac oil to everything. You need things like red meat, WHOLE eggs, nuts, peanut butter, etc if you want to put on quality mass. You clearly know nothing about nutrition and most likely just copy those common pathetic meal plans found in magazines. You don't even look like you lift.
@timbo1539 It was a bulking diet so how ever long you want to put on size as long as you continue to adjust the calories and macro totals to ensure continued progress.
@baianocampeao Ahh the age old spiking of insulin after workouts debate. A couple things 1. Spiking insulin is not nessesary for post workout muscle recvery, glycogen replenishment yes-muscle reovery no. Now carbs have been shown to enhance muscle recovery if consumed post workout so it is important to get them in but I actually reccomend a blend of fast and slow absorbing carbs for a sustained release.
Protein is right around 1.35g/per lb bw. Could be considered a tad high but during gaining phases it is important to play around with protein/carb ratios and figure out what your body responds best to. Fat is around 20% of overall calories. Hormone production does not become effected by low fat intake until levels are under 15% and with a diet that is hypocaloric it is probably lower than that! Fat intake is in an optimal range, especially with the amount of overal calories and CHOs
This is a good general meal plan. I definitely agree with the science nutrition behind it. Do you find, though, that this amount of food (given your present metabolism) keeps you less vascular than a diet which is more limited in carbs? I enjoy staying rather on the lean side throughout the year (9% body fat).
@MR90301 train hard (1 muscle group per week TO FAILURE), eat your proteins (1gm per pound), and a shit load of carbs (750to1000gm daily) every 3 hours and 3to4 liters of water bodybuilding nutrition 101 :) check my videos for the weider system nutrition.
@QuakeLiveDemo in my perspective of training that is wrong, because: 1° a recovered muscle take about 6 to 10 days to be fully repaired, 2° working out the same muscle 3 times in a weak will get you strengths and resistance, not size... you need to divide all the muscles you want to develop, into 3 to 4 days and work it out 3 to 4 times to failure, meaning to a point where you cant lift or push anymore. in 7 to 10 reps.
@azt3c hmm yeah but i dont feel musclepain after trainings well not alot and not much, also i drink 2-3 protein shakes a day eat everyday 1-2 chicken filets en using amino tabs i think my muscles recover quit fastly
@QuakeLiveDemo after working out for a few month you'll get stronger and build more resistance, after 4 to 5 month i almost stop feeling muscle aches, but that doesn't mean you didn't work the muscle properly.
try to mix high reps 12-15 with low reps and high weights 3-5 and muscle build reps 8-10 and again, every time you do the reps, use the weight to make your muscle fail = not able to lift any more...
@QuakeLiveDemo and dont forget to eat lots of carbohydrates, mainly white or brown, cos if you don't have enough energy, all the proteins you eat will get wasted and your body will not build muscle.
@MacPr0xnxx0 Yeah I have good meal plans for everything from fat loss, muscle building, sport specific, ect. Check out the website hunt - fitness.com and look under services!
You should re-think about eating just the egg whites. I used to think like that but if you do loads of reading from books and the internet you will see that the pros outway the cons when it comes to egg yolks. Your missing out on vitamins and minerals from the yolks. I understand you probably use the whites for protein but again your missing the nutrition you need from the yolk and you could easily use the calories from them too. Just my thoughts!
@DavidGabRieL07 I def see your point bro, the egg yoke is loaded with benefitial micronutirients. In this case it was more about overal macronutirent totals. If you notice I did say I was having 1 whole egg for the yoke benefits along with some added healthy fat.
@jaymeez He's got videos of himself workingout in the gym. He's exceedingly strong. Each of us has different genetics which determine in large part our muscularity, vascularity and general physique.
@apologeticacattolica Yeah genetics is a part of it, but what that really means is this. Good genetics=less work to realize gains / bad genetics=harder work to get to that same level of gains.
@jaymeez I agree with you in part. Having less good genetics might necessitate your having to work harder to have legs development on par with me. But if I'm genetically disposed to have massive quads and you're genetically disposed to have spindles for legs, you can work day and night and never reach my level of muscularity and mass. So it's not simply a question of less good genetics = harder work willl get you to the end result of the person with better genetics. That's true in all of life.
Fuck yeah man! My weight is about 70 kg and I eat more food than you & I can't gain any kilo's more! You don't eat even 3000 kkals, so there won't be any progress!
P.S. If you are on diet to be more ripped so sorry, you can kill me! =)
People get the misconception that a post workout meal has to be entirely fast acting carbs. In reality it's more about the glycemic load of the meal. When you combine whey, oats and a banana the overall meal is relatively fast acting or fast acting enough to be effective. Regardless of digestion rate the macronutrient ratio is much more important!
I dont count "Fibrous" vegetables, I do count "Starchy" vegetables. This was more of a diet example rather than what I nessesarily do everyday. I dont actually weigh everything out to exact totals all the time. When following a specific diet however such as precontest it is benefitial to know your exact totals. It just makes it easier to make adjustments.

So since you don't count vegetable's in with your calories you might wanna forget about the sweet potato in the tubs because thats classed as a vegetable is it not? good diet but as you should know stop counting and weighing everything out as jay cutler learned when he took on Hany Rambod

you realy need that diet. FATASS!!!
ProductFatal 3 months ago
This is an appalling meal plan for your so-called 'bulking'. It's more like a diet to lose weight. Where is your dietary fats, instead of just adding mac oil to everything. You need things like red meat, WHOLE eggs, nuts, peanut butter, etc if you want to put on quality mass. You clearly know nothing about nutrition and most likely just copy those common pathetic meal plans found in magazines. You don't even look like you lift.

@timbo1539 It was a bulking diet so how ever long you want to put on size as long as you continue to adjust the calories and macro totals to ensure continued progress.

Dont use oats in post workout shake.U need to spike insulin after workout.Oats wont help with it.
baianocampeao 3 months ago
@baianocampeao Ahh the age old spiking of insulin after workouts debate. A couple things 1. Spiking insulin is not nessesary for post workout muscle recvery, glycogen replenishment yes-muscle reovery no. Now carbs have been shown to enhance muscle recovery if consumed post workout so it is important to get them in but I actually reccomend a blend of fast and slow absorbing carbs for a sustained release.
huntfitnesstv 3 months ago
@baianocampeao No but they will still provide needed energy so with the banana they're fine

Fat intake is in an optimal range, especially with the amount of overal calories and CHOs
huntfitnesstv 4 months ago
protein is to high and the fat is to low for hormone production

This is a good general meal plan. I definitely agree with the science nutrition behind it. Do you find, though, that this amount of food (given your present metabolism) keeps you less vascular than a diet which is more limited in carbs? I enjoy staying rather on the lean side throughout the year (9% body fat).

azt3c 4 months ago
@azt3c lol im training my triceps and biceps 3 times in a week
QuakeLiveDemo 4 months ago
@QuakeLiveDemo in my perspective of training that is wrong, because: 1° a recovered muscle take about 6 to 10 days to be fully repaired, 2° working out the same muscle 3 times in a weak will get you strengths and resistance, not size... you need to divide all the muscles you want to develop, into 3 to 4 days and work it out 3 to 4 times to failure, meaning to a point where you cant lift or push anymore. in 7 to 10 reps.
azt3c 4 months ago
@azt3c hmm yeah but i dont feel musclepain after trainings well not alot and not much, also i drink 2-3 protein shakes a day eat everyday 1-2 chicken filets en using amino tabs i think my muscles recover quit fastly
QuakeLiveDemo 4 months ago
@QuakeLiveDemo after working out for a few month you'll get stronger and build more resistance, after 4 to 5 month i almost stop feeling muscle aches, but that doesn't mean you didn't work the muscle properly.
try to mix high reps 12-15 with low reps and high weights 3-5 and muscle build reps 8-10 and again, every time you do the reps, use the weight to make your muscle fail = not able to lift any more...
azt3c 4 months ago
@QuakeLiveDemo and dont forget to eat lots of carbohydrates, mainly white or brown, cos if you don't have enough energy, all the proteins you eat will get wasted and your body will not build muscle.
azt3c 4 months ago
@azt3c "thnx for the tips, when i work out i build up with weights.. and always go as heavy as i can

It makes sick to my stomach to know that you're gonna waste all those yokes.
brink2992 5 months ago
Hey Man,
You should re-think about eating just the egg whites.
DavidGabRieL07 6 months ago
@DavidGabRieL07 I def see your point bro, the egg yoke is loaded with benefitial micronutirients. In this case it was more about overal macronutirent totals. If you notice I did say I was having 1 whole egg for the yoke benefits along with some added healthy fat.
huntfitnesstv 6 months ago
Surprisingly you can get it all for around $50-60 a week if you look for deals and buy in bulk.

jaymeez 7 months ago 2
@jaymeez He's got videos of himself workingout in the gym. He's exceedingly strong. Each of us has different genetics which determine in large part our muscularity, vascularity and general physique.
apologeticacattolica 5 months ago
@apologeticacattolica Yeah genetics is a part of it, but what that really means is this. Good genetics=less work to realize gains / bad genetics=harder work to get to that same level of gains.
jaymeez 5 months ago
@jaymeez I agree with you in part. Having less good genetics might necessitate your having to work harder to have legs development on par with me. But if I'm genetically disposed to have massive quads and you're genetically disposed to have spindles for legs, you can work day and night and never reach my level of muscularity and mass. So it's not simply a question of less good genetics = harder work willl get you to the end result of the person with better genetics. That's true in all of life.
apologeticacattolica 4 months ago
Fuck yeah man! My weight is about 70 kg and I eat more food than you & I can't gain any kilo's more! You don't eat even 3000 kkals, so there won't be any progress!
P.S. If you are on diet to be more ripped so sorry, you can kill me! =)
pValenTINq 9 months ago
People get the misconception that a post workout meal has to be entirely fast acting carbs. In reality it's more about the glycemic load of the meal. When you combine whey, oats and a banana the overall meal is relatively fast acting or fast acting enough to be effective. Regardless of digestion rate the macronutrient ratio is much more important!
huntfitnesstv 10 months ago 2
the oats in that PWO shake will slow the digestion of the whey
