Man! I predicted it! I wrote a comment saying that Nvidia must have more "in store". Because I realized that the 580 wasn't that much of an advancement of a single-gpu card from their 480. With the 6900 series coming out, you'd have to expect Nvidia too come out with card(s) to compete with that.

@TheTechSource1 ok, so i found 2 other laptops which i will definantly order one of them on black friday. and i cant decide between a intel core i3 @ 2.4 ghz with 6gb of ram, or a core i5 @ 2.53 ghz with turboboost to 2.8 ghz, with only 4gb of ram. i will not be doing much gaming, if any gaming at all. i will mostly be doing video editing with sony vegas, or premiere pro, and the usual email and web surfing. please help me choose! thanks guys!

@kevinsdb1 They are already dead. the ATi 3870 I had a crazy air cooler on 2 of them and over clocked them to destruction and the other is a 8800gts my friend killed from not having good air flow and not cleaning out the dust out of his pc
