I would agree that Big Boi lacks substance. This is made most obvious on songs like "Da Art of Storytelln' (Part 1)." Andre does an incredibly heartfelt rap about a girl he knew who was found dead of an overdose in the back of a school, and Big Boi raps about how he wanted to screw some groupie, but he had to pick up his daughter and go home to his wife, so he got head instead. That pretty much sums it up.

The number of tracks where he's saying something still outnumber the tracks where he's saying nothing. His substance level is just lower than Andre's.
