  • Tinny is right about most of the people on youtube make there mini kits and not knowing how to use or really what to put in it

I do use a mini tin kit and YES I know how and have used every thing i put in it

but at the same time it is to be used with my other gear not so much as stand alone but I could if need be use it by its self

  • How are you going to have sex without a condom? In a survival situation it is critical that you minimize exposure to disease. Condoms have been proven to be able to be reused many times. Plus, getting a girl pregnant in a survival situation would just be unacceptable as this would be a burden (mouth to feed) to an already stressful (resources) enviroment. I envision in these type of judgement day scenarios that condoms would become almost a currency in which people would trade for goods.

  • Condoms are meant for emergency purposes only. Temporary carry just to your campsite and you fill it up in a lake or stream.

  • Hi Tinny: I admire for your common sense and practicality. I can't wait to see what awesome survival kit you'll come up with.

    Best regards from Argentina

  • Can't wait to see more!

  • Nice video Tinny. I went and watched some survival videos on youtube after watching your video. Unreal! Glad you are showing people how to make a practical one. My survival kit only weighs 16oz and fits in a fanny pack. It is separate from my backpack.

As you said, core temperature is important... this is the main killer in majority of survival situations. I would recommend the "Adventure Medical Kits emergency bivvy". Reflects up to 90% of your body's heat.

    Keep up the good videos.

  • I carry a fanny pack kit in the car and a tin in my pocket.

  • Cant wait to see it finished.

  • you need to get some sun on those guns haha

  • Sir for around the house I have started saving city water in 2 ltr bottles I clean the outside of my bottles rinse the inside out then fill them and add a tablespoon of bleach. I date the top of the bottle and store them in the shed I am using factory 2 liter holders to stock 8 per tray. Should my water get hit I will be able to find them if I had one large reservoir the entire stash could be compromised. Hurricane, Earthquake Today Illinois, power outage, riot, always store some water.

  • Should I need to use the water leave the bottle open over night to allow the bleach to get out then shake up the water to get it oxygenated. I figure I stock an area of about 4x4x5 I should have enough to last a couple of weeks for drinking. Cabellas sells the water filter you recommend $90 I don't get in the wild enough to justify buying one should things change I will know what to do thanks to you.

  • nice vid tinny

    nice weather

  • I am interested in having a good survival kit, can you give me your best advise, I live in Guatemala, Central America and there are rumors from the guys from INSIVUMEH (our version of FEMA) that soon we are going to have a good shake. I hopoe I don't hav to use it but i want to be prepared. Thanks

  • The nutralizer is not needed for porta-aqua, it us just extra weight. It is only vitamin C and it nuteralizes the taste of the iodine. Also, if you do use it, don't put it in until the iodine is done working.

  • Tinny I completely agree with you, I put a small one together that im gonna up load soon. But for me its not so much survival as if im lost I will want to be found, so ive got a flare pen and stuff. Cant wait to see what else goes in your.

    Peace.

  • First view. Yeeha! Hey that is a good day wow.
