  • what do you mean not a viable hatch and what do you do if they stick to the shell please help

  • @msegundo808 a fertile egg with the baby stuck to the shell can be saved by incubating with higher humidity and more rotations, when they start piping I get the humidity as high as I can, they usally hatch ok, if they dont exit the shell after a couple days and the chick is getting exhaused they can be helped out but using drops of water and slowly seperating the membrane from the shell, this should ony be done by someone that knows what they are doing. infertile can be left in the nest,

  • @nonskids so when i candled my eggs i have 2 they have this blob spot thats not moving but growing and stuck to the shell i think so is it stuck

  • what eggs are they?

  • Thanks for this info. I am trying to hatch my own chicken eggs. My friend is doing this to. She is having trouble with chicks being born with defects. Can not enough humity cause that?

  • Is there a reason for the paper towel being damp?

  • @Tokajein raises humidity.

  • @Tokajein keeps the egg cool and makes it stay one place

  • how often we need to candle the eggs.

  • @FEARfromGOD usally just once 4 or five days after laying to see if they are fertile or not, you can do it again if you are worried that the egg no developing or just to check on progress.-- to not over upset the parents i do it the least amount possible, incubated eggs you can do as many time as you like.

  • @nonskids k thanks. but after how much time (days) we have to give the first feeding to the sun after hatching.

  • What happens to the fertile eggs that stick to the shell, do they hatch? and if they do hatch are they normal or have birth defects? oooo yea do you (HAVE) to remove infertile eggs from a nest?

NIce video by the way..... good job ")

  • thanks for tell in me. u can u a flash light to do this

  • @MyXboxFreak a bright one

  • what fertile is that good? and infertile?

  • @MyXboxFreak fertile meens that the males sperm has entered the egg and a fetus is developing. infertile meens that there was no union and the egg wont grow into a baby bird. infertile eggs are what you buy at the grocery store, who wants to eat a unborn chick.
