Amazing job! Not only do you do a fantastic job, but you also picked one of my favorite songs. The kinks are so underappreciated. I'd put the Village Green album against anything the Beatles were doing at the time.

You da man, Mike! Once again you pick the meaningful song - not Ray's best musical effort, by a stretch, but one of the most thoughtful and thought-provoking. As you say, Ray has the ability "to make you feel nostalgia for places you've never been", and, for places he had rarely been, since London has few village greens! Your rendition is understated and emphasizes the story, just as Ray would. Great job!
