There's a pretty good reason why you can't find the chest there.. It's not the real location. The chest is out in the open (like all or most of the treasure chests probably). The treasure chest is located under a snowy tree at the northern edges of the mountain. A few tips, it's snowing there and everything's covered in snow, you can see Whiterun as well as Pelagia's farm. If you can't find it just keep going higher. You can walk there, not too much of a climb/hassle. Let me know if you find it.

the chest are messed up because of a recent update which disabled them, although it was actually meant to patch somthing else... im geussing another update will fix these. spread the word, and dont be like that idiot @zero2545 and say the games are fake -_-
@squerintain Chest isn't there for me either. When is Bethseda coming out with a patch? Getting tired of stuff like this and not being able to complete the Companion quest line because they wont stop acting like the silver hand just attack their place in whiterun.
@LOL4Polio Yep im in need of patch 1.04 too, i just hit the 10mb on my save file and after like 20 min of gameplay i cant go to Whiterun for example cuz the game becomes a slideshow... they better fix that lag problem once and for all this time because people is going to be mad if they don't (myself included)
FYI, at level 17, Khajiit, got the map and went to the exact same spot and there was no chest. On one of my other characters, level 30-40something at the time, the chest was in the exact spot as the video. Must be some prerequisite or level minimum or a glitch. PS3 version
@BoostedImportGods Sorry - few things delayed me. 1.) My ISP's DNS server exploded. 2.) More term papers came up. 3.) While rendering it, the video got crazy screwed up, so I had to render again.
