@sqorck Actually, the original tripod this head comes with (Velbon Videomate III) is fantastic. It is more heavy-weight than the my old DV-40 was. And it has a VERY wide spread for the legs - which really add to the stability. There's one for sale on eBay right now.

Nope. That is the one thing they don't do. kind of wish they did - because then I could get another of these and take the part where you put the quick release plat into and mount it to my shoulder mount setup - so I could quickly go from tripod (or glider) to shoulder mount without having to mess with things.

@McAngelo24 Thanks!! - Which song are you talking about? The first one? second one? the piano one? (The piano one was just an improvisation for something to fit the timing of the sample footage.

I have been thinking of showing my home studio and recording myself composing something. That would be fun.

The only thing missing on this Velbon is the ability to tilt it 90º. That and it is mostly plastic. That is probably why the cheap pricing.
