Excuse me sir i'm going to purchase an hd 6770 and i was just wondering if you can help me out, Sir, what is the difference, of the different types of 6770? ex. sapphire, powercolor, asus, his, xfx etc..aren't they just the same?? because what i found out is that asus is most expensive and that powercolor is the cheapest, and the specifications are the same, why is that? please help me sir im confused,,and nice graphics by the way!
I'm no tech expert, but i guess there might be some minor differences, mine is the Gigabyte Radeon HD 6770, and it performs pretty good, i guess it might work alright and similar to mine for all the other versions you mentioned,
@jebbtalle not to hijack this question from the uploader :p, but you see different vendors use different PCB's. The PCB is the board the video card runs off. Brands such as powercolor, diamond and others use cheaper, less quality pcb's but allows them to sell at a lower price with little to no variations from their standard product. Only difference is the overclock-ability of the card and the quality of components they use.
@jebbtalle many differences. heres a few: Cheaper parts /chips cheaper cooling (fins, copper etc) cheaper fan, lower RPM Less overclock slower memory or cheaper chips warranty varies thinner plastic double vs tripple PCB boards gold plated parts vs non-plated cheaper capacitors "shorter life span" and i can think of a few more but u get the idea. also look at the boxs, the specs may look the same first glance but there can be difference in bus width or ram speeds and types as well.
@jebbtalle they are all the same, the more expensive ones most likely have better cooling, or are overclocked, which means for example the speed of the GPU (the graphics card, Graphics Processing Unit) is lets say 810 MHz, they have tweaked it so it runs at 900MHz which will boost the performance a little bit. id suggest buying from newegg . com or .ca and reading the reviews to see if it lasts a long time and runs cool. the cooler it runs, chances are longer lifetime. enjoy :)
@iVisionX1 probably 30fps or so. if it is a phenom x4 than you're looking at more fps average and a much higher minimum. if its an amd athlon x4 then you may have some fps drop at higher resolutions. bf3 unlike many other games takes advantage of cores, cache and architecture
is this a sapphire Radeon HD 6670 or XFX or just Radeon HD 6670 because a just a have a Radeon HD 6670 and i want to know with that GPU can it handle a lot of intense explosions up close and lots of action?
I walked in half way through when my cousin was watching this and I honest to god thought this was a real life movie for about 20 seconds before I realized it was BF3... this graphics card is utterly amazing for its price....
I visited the website "Can you Run it?" and the result with Battlefield 3 was minimum requirements because my video card has 734.8 MB of RAM.. o.O?? but it supposed to have 1 GB,!!! What's going on whit my videoCard?? I mean in the videocard box says 1 GB, even in the Catalyst Control Center says 1024 Mb
Does anybody knows what's the problem? ==> "Gigabyte HD 6770 1GB gddr5 PCI Express 2.0 x16"
What are the fps in action scenes? this is the DIAMOND 6770PE51GB Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card CORRECT?
How many fps would i average with a Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 5000+ (2.6GHz) How much of a bottleneck would i get by matching a Radeon HD 6770 DDR5. Should i down scale to a Radeon HD 6670? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I built my pc yesterday. AMD FX 4100, 16GB RAM, and the AMD Radeon HD 6770. I thought it'd be up for running new games on reasonably high settings.
However, I just installed Saints Row 3 and it lags like hell on minimum settings. I ran it through can you run it, it says I fail only on my video card for recommended settings. 737MB video RAM it says I have, I thought this card had 1.2GB!? I have up to date drivers, are there some settings that I don't know about that I need to change?
I'm really thinking about this card, I might be buying a new Dell that's under 1000, with a free 24" monitor, that brings this card. I'm wondering if it would be able to play most games, either high or maxed out with great framerates. Specs are:
@SpitfireZero You would be able to play nearly any games on Max but some games (Crysis, Metro 2033, BF3) could only be played on high. Hope this helped!

@Xirangeix101 I would say that ditch that 6770 and buy a 6990...And 16GB of ram is overkill 8GB should be enough olso info about MOBO and HDD/HDD's would be great.
@eskon12345 I'm not sure about the MOBO and HDD's, it does not say on the site. As for being 16gb, thats what it comes with. The 6770 is also what it comes with, i dont have 600+ dollars for a 6990, who does. All the vids that this guy make about 6770, seem like it runs most if not all games maxed.
you dont need a highend card for gaming, I have got the HD 6770 and with a 3.6ghz E5200 dual core I am getting 45 FPS avg on this game with ULTRA and 1400x1050 res. I might get a quad core just to make the max out of this card because right now I know my dual core is a bottleneck. This card is a BEAST !
Kinda pisses me off how some people say this card is only good for "casual" gaming say you NEED to get a $400 dollar card to be "hardcore"... also pisses me off when they call 30fps unplayable
@Fluffer4Fun, there are better cards out there but casual or hardcore, this card offers content for both, with it i've been playing many hardcore games maxed out and i never had a problem with such framerate, 30 frames is absolutely playable,
On top of it, with this card many games go above 30 frames, older games from 2010, 09... can go up to 60 or more,
@dinizgames That's true and 30 is fine, and it's not just your video that is at play here, I have that same vid card and I have 6 cores running at 2.8ghz and 8 gigs of ram and play everything enjoyably.
@dinizgames , your right, they say that a 30fps is unplayable, that because they had a BIGGER POCKET so they can afford to buy the newest V-CARD, well lucky for them, for me i can play this game with my 5570 and 5670 with a 15 - 20 fps, all max-out execpt for AA - i preffered 2x , blur = off and im happy already.
@dinizgames What is your CPU, RAM and motherboard?
I,m running a AMD Phenom x4 3.2ghz with 6gb of ram and can only play BF3 at a stable 30FPS on Multiplayer and Single player with a 500Watt power supply.
@Fluffer4Fun are you serious? ok, I agree with you completely on the first part...but the thing is, they don't even sell cards that are $400, so i dont know where your getting that from, a normal gaming card is $200-300. To address your second point, 30 fps is bearable...if it's constant, but if its always dipping even 5fps every once in a while, it is fucking unbearable, like most games on xbox run at 30fps stable but stable 30fps and 30fps on pc, are two completely different things
@WaelOfAnarchy theres like 4, the new radeon ones, the 7990 and 7970, and the 6990 as well as the gtx 580, thats about it, everything else is less, unless your looking at specialized versions that have 2 cards in 1.
@Fluffer4Fun That's true and 30 is fine, and it's not just your video that is at play here, I have that same vid card and I have 6 cores running at 2.8ghz and 8 gigs of ram and play everything enjoyably.
Me and my dad are going to buy a brand new PC Friday, with the following specs:CPU->Intel Core i3,4GB RAM,HDD 500 Gb,GPU->Ati Radeon HD 6770 1 Gb .And the first game I will install on it will be Battlefield 3(unfortunately,from where I am,the games are expensive as hell,so I can't afford any,so I'll have to play the cracked version, wich means no multiplayer ...I'm gonna cry...but the multiplayer isn't evrything)
@thegreatmiki im not asking if i can, im asking WHY cant i run bf3 in max settings just like the one in the video, i have 6870 which is better than his video card
Hey dude i have a ati readon 6770 hd and i want to know does it support 3d option i have a 3d polorised glasses and lcd monitor whn i played crysis 2 thr is a 3d option but it is grey in colour i mean darked out i cant press it can u plzz help me play 3d games thanxx
so guys listen i will have gtx 560 ti oc 3d vision with core i 3 2100 3.10 ghrz with 4 gb ram can i play it on ultra setting and with average 60 fps ??
@tomopyon1A3 It should be okay cache isnt too important for gaming thats a decent processor but bf3 isnt too demanding on the cpu the video card is more important
I'll thinking about getting either this or HD 5770 for BF3,i don't mind the Resolution, just wanna know if it could run smoothly or over 25 fps in MP With my Core 2 Quad Q9400,4GB(upgrading to 8GB) and either MSI Radeoon HD6770 or the XFX Radeon HD 5770
@InfiniteSaviour49, my PC with this card handles the game at 1080p on High and 720p on Ultra at 30 to 40 fps's; Both the 6770 and 5770 are similar for what i know and 8GB of ram is great, i just don't know if your processor is good or not as i'm not a tech expert,
I have the same card and on multiplayer I get massive lag spikes :S it's so frustrating I uninstalled the game. Does anybody else have this problem with this card? Please help me!
@Krycho9PowrotReturn, Multi-Player is always a pain in the ass to run properly, even in more powerful PC's it's unlikely to run without some frame drops here and there i guess, but try lowering the settings, the difference between Ultra, High or Low, ain't that huge and you might get a more stable framerate,
@dinizgames I tried running it on low, and the lowest res, too. But it was the same thing :/ but thankfully, DICE patched it up for me, so now it runs very nicely
Sounds good I'll be connecting my laptop to my Panasonic plasma and playing with my xbox controller I can't wait to see the awesomeness.. I would get owned if I played with the mouse and keyboard xD
Please help me out.. I just ordered a laptop from HP and know squat about pc gaming.. I went for the higher specs I could afford so I got a dv6qe i7 6mb with turbo 3.3ghz, 2gb hd 6770m gddr5, 8gb RAM 750gb 5400rpm hard drive.. from what I've been reading I should be able to run the game with high if not max settings just need some clarification, what do you guys think?
hey i have an HP pavilion dv7-6199us specs Intel core i7 2670QM 2.2ghz turbo boost 3.1ghz, 8GB memory, ATI Radeon HD 6770m, 17.3 inch screen. Can this run and also it's a laptop and I do play a ton of shooters so should I get a wireless mouse
Just sent in my order for this card and a new power supply 500w to handle it. Thinking about upping my ram from 6gbs while i'm at it. HP decided to break my old video card, that needed an upgrade anyways, while they were fixing the computer for some unrelated problem under warranty and decided not to take responsibility for it. So i've been running the onboard graphic card for few months now. Suffice to say i can't wait for this card to arrive.
Please guide me I am about to purchase

Im in the market for a new Gfx Card, but im having trouble deciding between the 6770 and 6850.
6770 specs Core Clock - 850MHz Stream Core Units - 800 Memory - 1GB 128bit DDR5 (4.0Gb/ps) Price at Newegg = $90.oo - 100.oo
6850 specs Core Clock -775MHz Stream Core Units - 960 Memory - 1GB 256bit DDR5 (4.0Gb/ps) Price at Newegg = $130.oo - 140.oo
My question is.. What is the difference of the 128bit vs 256bit? Higher resolution by keeping high frames per second? Any help will be appreciated.

@dinizgames , your right, they say that a 30fps is unplayable, that because they had a BIGGER POCKET so they can afford to buy the newest V-CARD, well lucky for them, for me i can play this game with my 5570 and 5670 with a 15 - 20 fps, all max-out execpt for AA - i preffered 2x , blur = off and im happy already.
gimo12 3 weeks ago
@dinizgames What is your CPU, RAM and motherboard?
I,m running a AMD Phenom x4 3.2ghz with 6gb of ram and can only play BF3 at a stable 30FPS on Multiplayer and Single player with a 500Watt power supply.
Clapboardstudio 2 weeks ago
@Fluffer4Fun are you serious? ok, I agree with you completely on the first part...but the thing is, they don't even sell cards that are $400, so i dont know where your getting that from, a normal gaming card is $200-300. To address your second point, 30 fps is bearable...if it's constant, but if its always dipping even 5fps every once in a while, it is fucking unbearable, like most games on xbox run at 30fps stable but stable 30fps and 30fps on pc, are two completely different things

@FatalBlur there are a lot of GPUs in the 400-500$ range
WaelOfAnarchy 1 month ago
@WaelOfAnarchy theres like 4, the new radeon ones, the 7990 and 7970, and the 6990 as well as the gtx 580, thats about it, everything else is less, unless your looking at specialized versions that have 2 cards in 1.

I'm just so excited.

Krycho9PowrotReturn 2 months ago
@Krycho9PowrotReturn, Multi-Player is always a pain in the ass to run properly, even in more powerful PC's it's unlikely to run without some frame drops here and there i guess, but try lowering the settings, the difference between Ultra, High or Low, ain't that huge and you might get a more stable framerate,
dinizgames 2 months ago
@dinizgames I tried running it on low, and the lowest res, too. But it was the same thing :/ but thankfully, DICE patched it up for me, so now it runs very nicely
