hmm, seems like it would work: powering on the device, but waiting 15mins in standby before actually starting the beamer yields a success (though, that's not cool).
I think it is a problem with the power supply not being able to produce the required steady power on startup or something... making the beamer go panic.
If the motherboard and lamp has been replaced already... there is not much left besides the PS anyway.
Have you marked the components before sending it in? You should do that, to be sure they actually replaced something.
Try this: Power on the beamer and wait half an hour, then turn it on. Does that make a difference?
How often does that happen? Every time you switch it on?
What if you keep it powered on (using standby instead of power off), will this happen too? ..not that I suggest this as a solution, just for troubleshooting. Could indicate an issue with the power supply.
@SirPlayalot99 - thanks for your comment. Yep, it happens every time (at least after longer breaks between runs; switching off and on again usually works fine). This means also, that using standby works fine as well. It's only when switching off and starting from scratch after a while (e.g., 12 hours). Please note, a friend of mine, having the previous version of the Sanyo beamer, has not such problems, what so ever...
