Technically, it is less than 8 ft. wide as your 4 foot tall vertical end supports are eating up some of that width -because of how you fastened the vertical supports to the horizontal base.
This is important only if you would ever order wood for delivery, and they sell you a 1/2 or 1/4 cord of wood...in that case, you would want a true 8 ft wide base.
Boom, I just found your channel and I have watched many of your vids....I love them...keep up the good work...I am subscribing and sending you a friend invite.
That's slick & cool man, but I can get more capacity than those 4 racks in 30 seconds by just pulling the van up 10' from the house & filling the gap up fulla wood. It's ok till I need to use the van to get something, but I can still run it and sit inside & get wasted.
This is Tommy Chong man, don't tell this stupid Mother *cough*-er I got on his computer messin around while he wasn't lookin, heheheh ... later bentaco's!
@Mahalalel3 They are way cool racks & simple & quick which is really cool. Boom also did a great job getting them up & it's a nice bunch a wood. I should have said more about that, but Chong got me, that bastard.
Your good...how did you know I was staring at your ass?? Oh, ya light beer is for the light hearted. You should always start off with the good stuff then work your way down to the light.... LOL. Great vid. I wish I would have thought of this when I lived where I actually needed wood. Of course I could use a 3ft. version to stack my fire pit/ camping wood in my garage. Thanks again and be safe out there.
A six + minute video on how to nail a couple of boards together. Excellent.. thank you..

Just a tip.
Let the firewood dry for 1 year before using it.
Why?
Because then it will be compleatly DRY and Give MORE heat.
It will also burn more cleanly and easier to get the fire started.
We usually cut down the trees just before winter starts or during winter, the trees got less water in them during that time.
Other then that, you got good videos. keep up the good job.
Might come in handy some day.
