I need help here ipodtouchedmaster! The SSH is working perfectly but when i try to put the file on /private/var/stash/Themes and rebooted it and went to winterboard to activate it, it still says "slide to unlock". Was there something i did wrong with the file(slidertext)? Please respond!

try renaming your winterboard to [whatever].theme

add the ".theme" to the end like the other themes in the folder. then activate in winterboard and respring

HEY BIG HINT!!

Install iFile from Cydia. There, you have access to the root user directly on your iPod / iPhone so you can modify whatever you have chosen as text for the sliders. You just respring after modding it into whatever you want, just like in the video :)

when it reboots or resprings the jailbreak will be gone, but the untethered version doesnt have those errors

no, what happens is that you have to reboot with a GUI called Cyw00d, which just reboots your ipod.´It doesn't remove the jailbreak.

As for respring, you just respring. It is the same.

no the tethered version just means it needs help to reboot, and resprings are fine, and reboot only takes half a minute anyway...i've got the untethered now cos quickfreedom added the "already jailbroken" option tht doesnt delete anythin off ur ipt2g if its jb'd....
