I know that. But I don't plan on re-recording a song just to make it actually sound like the chipmunks. The people behind all of that had a number of professionals dedicated to re-recording songs to sound like the chipmunks. I am simply using simple, free software to give the small illusion that it is the chipmunks. I know that it isn't correct, but to my knowledge, there is no simple way to do it properly.

I am going to research and see if there is any way to seperate singing from the music..
