  • Wow, I could listen to her talk all day long. She's so calming.

  • ~ Like most, at first I was put off by the pelt ~ However ~ I am pleased that I watched this piece in its entirety ~ Cheers Lilou, thanks a lot for sharing ~

  • i'm pretty offended at the fur behind her. murdered animal would never be requested by any spirit.

  • @alovelylittledeer Fur & pelts as decoration are indeed sickening: they dishonor the spirits of the beings that wore them, & often the animals were killed just to create such "fashion". When one walks the shamanic path, however, one moves between the worlds & communicates with spirits of all kinds in those worlds. We can never presume to know what an animal spirit or any being has to say until we speak with it personally. Perspectives of other beings are often quite surprising!! Truly.

  • I wanted to say thank you and show honor to Rose De Dan for taking on this difficult journey and work. It is often marginalized or misunderstood. She must be very strong and have many teachers helping."The plants and animals are in dialogue with us", I love this teaching. The cat at the end (orange/blond) was my favorite. He was such a sweet spirit! I also love the story of the "We Love Rats Club" too. ~ Sarah

  • Hi Lilou! I saw you in Ashland Starbucks this AM, but was too shy to say "hello". I live here. I love this interview. I work with animals at a Sanctuary, I am a Vegan too, so I love love this interview. Blessings on your journey, Sarah

  • I studied with Rose for several years, and had the great privilege of holding She Walks ("the pelt") during ceremony. Believe me, She is not in this video as decoration, but rather as a spiritual ally. Lilou, thank you for this interview -- reconnecting with our animal neighbors indeed leads to juicy living! We are all part of this web of life together.

  • Over her shoulder is the pelt of a cougar (a puma or North American "mountain lion.") It is not a wolf. I studied under Rose De Dan and assure you she is NOT an advocate of fur or animal pelts. They assist her work. She was extremely distressed & initially refused when Spirit first insisted she purchase a pelt (attached to that pelt was a spirit adviser named She Walks, who has taught and assisted her for many years). They are part of her shamanic work teaching people about animals.

  • Love this, the lady, and the animals so much! Thank you Lilou!

  • hmz cant make up what movie is mentioned or who's it is.. Anyone?

  • @sensibility10 werner herzog filming the caves in france. he is an incredible filim-maker!

  • @sensibility10

The film Rose mentioned is called Cave of Forgotten Dreams. You can find the trailer here on YouTube.

  • @RhodaHarley Thank you! just a little patience needed till its out here.. ah well :)

  • The wolf must have died (possibly a natural death) and she is keeping the fur :-)

  • this is probably good info but cant get over the dead wolf on her shoulder ..

  • tears, thank you for this it really spoke to me.

  • At 40 min there is a topic of the pelt

  • wabe04 if you read her book she explains why she has the pelt. It's not for decoration the pelt has a name and is used in her healing sessions. So before you say it's not right get more information please.

  • @Zalaph1 i a offended by it. i know her reason and i still find it offensive. no spirit would want this.

  • it was good but i cant understand why she would surround herslef in peltz (fur) its so not right

  • That was a long one, but so worth the time. I really appreciated every word of it & Rose has opened my mind a little to maybe starting to see SOME zoos and SOME pelts in a new way. That's a big paradigm shift for me, but there's a crack now in that armor & a tiny bit of light coming through.

  • Oh boy- That first story actually got me choked up this morning. Animals are sooo sweet.

  • lilou the sound of the video is not so good, check it!thanks for this video,i love videos about animal totems

  • amazing. totally awesome!
