The NYC radio stations played the UK Virgin 12" to death! This is OK, but I still long for the "real" version I heard back then.
Virgin distribution in the US was all over the map before they were sold to EMI/Capitol... United Artists (for the Spencer Davis Group "Gimme Some Lovin' "), A&M, RCA, CBS/Epic, MCA, even WEA (Warner).
