Does anyone know what kind of effect they used in the beginning of their Face to Face remix when they performed live? It sounds to me like Beat Repeat off Ableton but it's not the same. Has anyone seen it replicated? Please help I'm trying to create something similar because I love the use of robotic / twitchy voices all throughout Alive 2007

@Lokigdren um as i see this comment i dont even know if this is still relevant but it wasnt a filter lfo. It was basically just warp mode on 1/16 + double sample forward/stop mode (the two double arrows). They then simply slowed down the vocals so it made a stuttering, beat repeat like sound. If this was the question it should be answered now ;)

@BurnerMan54 Unfortunately I was never able to really mimic it, so I gave up. I'm trying to make sense of what you wrote but it's been a LONG time since I've used Ableton. Warp mode... would that be an effect or did you manually go and warp the song

@blue2397 well im out of cpu memory as of right now and can no longer do videos or musiq projects until i buy a new external hard drive, the best advice i can give you now, is to take the last few seconds of the song and play with it in sampler or just time stretch it with the warp makers if you can and play with the pitch and bitcursher like i did,and listen to the original encore set, i have the other sets done but cant upload yet because of memory
