  • This was my lullaby when I was a kid. Many thanks for the post.

  • Nice video toiletholder. Please download more quality ilocano songs..those medleys and minus one videos don't capture the true melody of our classic cultural music.

  • bellisimo!

  • I wanna go to ILOCOS!!! I havent been there yet!

  • i first heard this song when it was sung by nonet form ASIN as they emersed in our house in cebu,it was sang as lullabye.i didn't understand the lyrics but i just simply love the song.

  • just enjoy the music, get swayed with the lyrics that bring joy to one's personal rich cultura.

ako'y natutuwa't may kabuluhan pa rin ang ating mayamang kultura kahit saan panig pa tayo ng mundo o kalawakan, noh!

    aihihihi!!!

    baklita

  • Thanks for posting the song. For your information, Filipinos have not emigrated to other countries since the 1950s in boats generally. So, if you're referring to anyone under 50, in the U.S. or Canada, I think the correct derogative wording would be FOJ (fresh off the jet) or FOP (fresh off the plane).

  • HAHAHA!

  • annay puso, annay, annay! nagpintas nga kansyon daytoyen.

  • I have an idea; why don't you act badass and listen to rap and be real at the mall with your bitches? I was born and raised in Canada and I can spot FOB action like a hawk. Especially Filipino FOB behaviour. Filipinos are so ademant about showing how mall rap star they can be. Lame. THAT IS FOB ACTION.

  • You need to watch your mouth and manners. You need to learn some respect as well. Enough said!

  • toiletholder better hold your toilet business...if you dislike the song better not to listen to it and act like you hate it...you prefered rap right.?...go to hell where you from....

  • You, charmer, do not understand what toilet wrote; you are a thousand miles off the mark. A little learning is a dangerous thing, and you are a perfect example of this adage.

Close your mouth so it doesn´t catch flies, you moron!

  • so what? this isn't your place, dude. go to the mall and have your butt kicked while i enjoy this song. i'm not ilocano but i love dissun!

  • I'm the one who posted this video. I was getting angry with someone who called this "FOB." Please read and UNDERSTAND what you read. I accidentally erased that person's comment. I don't think I should those people deserve respect. But I was obviously debasing Filipino-Mall-Rap culture.

  • @toiletholder ,,,,,,,watever you shit stupid nonsense,,,,,go fuck your bitches in canada,,,,,,i wonder wy do you care about us filipinos and commenting on us like shits!!!!! if u dont want this song dont listen to it,,,,, ill give u one ticket to go to hell,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.say sorry to us,,,,,, butthead,!!!!!

  • @tyrine1000 You need to understand the context of my posts. I was the one who posted the video. You're the one who is stupid for not reading what my posts were in response to and not seeing that I was the poster of the video. And no, I'll not apologise.

  • Very very nice. Love this song.

  • lyrics and translation for non-ilocanos please. i'm an ilongo but i love to learn songs from other dialects as well. thanks!

  • Sorry I can't translate. Bisaya ako pud. I just like to promote non-Tagalog culture because everyday is a day for Tagalog culture.

  • Thank you very much. I heard the song many times at filipino gatherings in Seattle and Santa Maria Ca. in the 1950's and 60's.

  • so you've been in the US for quite long period of time. i was in seattle last month but never heard the song, hehe. i used to listen that song when i was young, 1980's. regards.

  • My father left Luna La Union in 1929. He became a farmer in the Seattle area, married a German/American thus me in 1946. He died when I was 14. I plan on going to my fathers home in 2009 along with the recently found relatives we found in our very hometown. Santa Maria Ca.

  • where is your father's hometown in philippines? i am from cagayan valley.

  • Luna La Union. Where do you live now? are you Ilocano?

  • im a pure ilocano, m at WA state waiting for my deployment in a hospital

  • In the early immigration of the Filipinos to the US Ilocanos led the way. The Auburn and Woodinville areas was once the largest area for Filipino farmers, they sold thier lands for profit in the 1960's and 70's. Thier struggles are documented in the book "Filipinos" forgotten asian Americans. May your future in America be a memorable one. Good Luck.
