can you people shut the fuck up about genres? It's just a series of sound waves of different volumes frequencies etc. that are picked up by our ears and then interpretated into music. We each give a definition to the music and divide it into genre's. This is different for everybody because each mind is different and therefor the outcome of the interpretation of the soundwaves is. Music is just fucking different to everybody so shut the fuck up with the genres.

i listen to some death metal, that have a good lyrics and no shit posers like cannibal corpse. good death metal is fear factory, dismember, death, hour of penance etc.

and i love sometimes listen to black metal.

i listen to thrash and metalcore too, they are both great genres.

Ok, Im just putting it out there, I dont see how its fair to claim Metalcore is not Metal. It is. It's a sub-genre of it i believe, mixed with hardcore or something. Thrash....is also a sub-genre of metal. Both are good genres, but I see no reason to argue over them. And I agree with the fact that both genres can be seen as generic SOMETIMES, but theres a fair share of bands that are unique out there. Point is, there's no good reason why Metalcore isnt metal. I mean, what makes it not metal...?
