  • Umm, uh... wooooowww! hawt!

  • So this is what making love to a guitar sounds like...

  • best one really nice

  • Wes Borland: Greatest Guitar Solo Ever

Fred Durst: Worst Guitar Solo Ever.

  • I cried to this.

  • Is this from a particular song or album ?

  • He copied jonny greenwood of radiohead

  • hey limp bizkit is back , bitches!!

  • Is this SERIOUS? He needs an egg, lobbed at him, REAL bad!

  • does anybody know if thats solo has a name so i can download it or somthin??

+ yep he is the most underrated musician ever

  • Probably the most underrated musician ever

  • 13 biebers here ^^

  • this is not really a solo. it's a song called "the moment in wich you realize you're going to fall"

  • Woooow Sounds LIKE A SITAR !!

  • in India Really ? i am Indian ! My God i wish i was there !!

  • he's a decent guitar player...he just owns a lot of stomp boxes and effect pedals

  • Wes is totally capable of the technical pop style solo's and thrashings you punks out there think are cool, but chooses to play his own unique style, and it's a breath of fresh air to see an artist do that these days..

  • Wes is nothing without limp bizkit? More like Limp Bizkit is nothing without Wes. Notice how after he left the band, limp bizkit fell the fuck off, and now that he's back in the band they're getting noticed again? I'm fuckin disappointed in him. He's so much better off on his own, but because his music isn't popular he's crawling back to limp bizkit. Sad.

  • oh my orgasm ;D amazing!!!

  • @bizkitmarv i agree this is not that impressive. but his style is unique.

  • this is a great solo, some people may call him a bad guitarist, but thats people who dont play the instrument themselves, as a fellow guitarist like myself you have to understand that it isnt all about sweep picking but to create an atmosphere in your solos like nothing else, people don't actually realize that anymore and take quantity over quality nowadays...

  • WES BORLAND IS A GENIUS... SIMPLY... AND AS EVERY GENIUS IN THE HISTORY PEOPLE WHO DOESN´T LIKE HIM IT´S BECAUSE THEY DON´T UNDERSTAND HIM... LIMP BIZKIT AND BLACK LIGHT BURNS FOR THE WIN!! THUMB UP IF YOU ARE WITH ME!!

  • 很有风格的吉他大师!

  • The song is "The moment in which you realize you're going to fall" it's not recorded anywhere as far as i know. I just hope once maybe he will make a record, till then only live versions exist, which all are different :D

This is with the best sound quality of the videos i found so far!

  • best guitar solo ever, wes borland is great!

  • could be one of the lamest I've ever seen that actually made money from this crap...even munky could lay waste to him...and munky sucks...

  • @str8bttr stfu if you don't like just go to watch your favorite music and get a life, leave the good music to people with good taste if you can't afford that.

  • whats this song called?

  • @Murderdollita it's called "The Moment In Which You Realize You're Going To Fall", but he'd never released it in any album… :(

  • He's very creative. He and Tom Morello are some of the few people who are any creative with their guitar sound anymore. 2 influences right there for any guitarists who want to do something no guitarist has done.

  • Not really...Jimmy Page had been using a bow on the guitar in the 70s or 80s...I get that it's not shred, it is interesting...it's just not completely original.

  • Loving this.

  • hes my guitargod :D

better then jimmi in my eyes(just in my eyes so dont flame :D)

because his style is untouched till now.

  • @Lennyblink182 I agree, I also think he's better than Jimmy when it comes to technical ability and making trippy music. Hail to the Hendrix, but Borland is Best. So underrated as well :(

  • @jakdax77

better than Jimmy/borland is the best?? omg what are you on?

  • if I would do lsd thats the song I would listen to

  • wes is back in limp bizkit again

  • this is bad ass!!!!!!

  • WHY Ex-Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland" ???? Ex??

  • he quit the band once, then came back, then the group spilt apart, and now they are back! and i have a ticket for their world tour concert tomorrow in lithuania! Did you get that cookie?? :D

  • @AnatolyGuitar because he left the band 2 times but i think the description of this video is much older than the limp bizkit comeback in 2009.

  • Pure feeling.

  • soul

  • pure feeling except for that he wrote it down and memorized it... hmmm

  • Yeah because feelings can't be written down or remembered ... hmmmm

  • he is a MUSIC GODDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so beautifull

  • Amazing song!

The song is called "The moment in which you" and is on the myspace side of "borland gallery"

  • someone knows if this a solo proyect of wes borland?? or is his new band???

  • He is fucking immense!

  • What a guitarist!

  • is this song Black Light Burns debut album? i don't recognize it

  • no its not.

  • Wow!In Nu Metal solos are rare!!!!

  • oh! ya i was at the show too...

    he speaks good hindi!

    XD

  • realy great ! Wes is very original !

    lov him !

    great player !

    long live to him !

  • What's he doing in India?? lol

  • mayhap playing music.time for you to turn off the tv

  • Dark Tower, FTW!

  • he is inspired by eastern music, note his melodies used in lb n all.

  • O man, with a bit of LSD this solo would be out of this world.

Either way this is kick arse, this is the shit i love, not the emo stuff he does now.

  • Dude, do you still have the original vid of this, and is it in any higher quality w/o youtube compression? Utterly love this solo he does, so it'd be great to get my hands on a version without distortion.

  • I took this video from my n80... I guess its just a bit better then this one.. not that much difference between the two

  • @chrisvcb i know it's been 3 years, but here you go /watch?v=liNIaQNhdXk

  • your comment is so studpi first you say that they(someone here I guess) claim's he's just a talented player I any normal person would get the idea you like him and than you say something like his just average and taht your grandma can play his stuff..decide which one is it?...

  • You're an idiot.

Wes is innovative, original and god damn creative.

  • ya, i always criticize myself for not being able to play "the given" already made songs from like metallica, acdc, or even hendrix but damn. The best times is playing what i make up. Nothing is meant to be anything besides what the maker wants it to be. Playing somebody elses stuff is....well...worthless, why are you even playing guitar if thats what you play?

  • agreed!!finally someone smart...this is the best comment ever dude!

  • Music is meant to be enjoyed and to give yourself an outlet... it's not some fucking contest to beat all the other people, that's why we have war, for that little "I BEAT YOU!" game. Wes, and KoRn, good friends by the way, are satisfied by their music, even if the shit is simple. It's so simple, yet complex, different, honest, raw, emotionally heavy, and the furthest thing from mainstream. Mainstreamers don't experiment, they stick with the same shit for their whole career, Wes nor KoRn has.

  • did anyone play nu metal before them???? come on man.... you can hate them, but cant say they're mainstream.... good charlotte and green day is mainstream......

  • I'm sorry buddy but back when they were popular they were allways on MTV's TRL, that my friend makes them mainstream.

  • yes.... but they were on trl because they were popular, not mainstream... it's different..... mainstream artist go to trl as soon as their first album is released.... i've never seen them live on trl... if they were on the chart, it was just because people liked them...

i mean.... i'm italian and maybe i've misunderstood the real meaning.... anyway.... that's my opinion

  • i disagree but respect your opinion.

  • u can be popular but that doesnt mean u go on TRL. ICP nd the whole hatchet clique are hella popular..doesnt mean they are mainstream. No matter what, after three dolla bill the sound got hella mainstream.

  • yeah they were mainstream but that doesn't mean they wern't original or have their own sound. listen to the guitar sound on significant other and chocolate starfish it was still original.

  • chocolate star fish was the end for wes...he was forced to keep his riffs conventional half the time and the other half was just fred rapping to a half assed beat. but i agree with you on significant other (and three dolla bill) showcasing wes' talent.

  • Hmmm, he still made good use of the flanger, delay and chorus pedals n utilised his trademark harmonics in the verses on chocolate starfish.

  • ...absolutely, they were both totally mainstream...let's split hairs over the definition of mainsteam...nah. Out to make money and writing the simplist shit so the public will like it.

  • agree

  • this song isnt meant to be amazingly fast and crazy its just fun and enjoyment of playing guitar and it sounds good peaceful you know

  • i can play guitar ..and any song you name it i learn at will

  • maybe you can play it....try writing it tho

  • Finally Someone Agrees With Me....Ya the dude must b singing like crap, Its like there were 30 ppl in his show (caz all the rest went 4 Iron Maiden!!!!!!....) and when we requested him sing a new song from black light burns album he just wont do it no matter how many times we asked him

  • and you say in the video description this is an amazing guitar solo but here diss him and say that he wouldn't play what you asked him for?he's not a gold fish to play what you tell him to play!name one artist who would change their show because someone in the audience tells him to...

  • I'm glad you guys like this amazing guitar solo.....what audience??? there waz only 20 ppl there.... Like I said b4 Maiden had a show a day b4 him.... And anyway he asked us what do you guys like to hear... we said maiden the he bitched out haha, that's the only thing ticked me off

  • ok but you didn't say that until now so no one could possibly knew what you we're thinking...

  • @xo0oxharryxo0ox iron maiden is gay

  • I like you WESLEY

  • Like how Kirk Hammet was to Metallica, Borland is like that to nu-metal.

  • No living artist is as creative as Wes, he's unique n' he's the best

  • i was at the show too.. took a pic with him :P

  • lucker :D

  • That is Wes Borland, lol, damn, people these days. He did a solo tour before Black Light Burns came out in this past June. He did it to have a way to live, something to pay the bills. The guy made Limp Bizkit, Fred was shit, John was shit, Same was shit, the new guitarist in limp was shit on the results may vary album. He can carry a note 10 times longer than fred's goofy ass. He's a serious, highly talented artists that wiggers, cavemen metalheads, and shallow people can't appreciate

  • true that.

  • Exactly, thank you,lol.

  • Well he is unique. but dont say sam, otto was shit they too are great musicians. Fred was shit.

  • Wes is nothing without Limp Bizkit. Limp Bizkit is nothing without Wes.

    It's sad.

  • the second one buddy.

  • Yes Wes Borland currently plays in Black Light Burns, also does singing, although this is a song of his own called themomentinwhichyou, check myspace for Wes.

  • he is the limp bizkit new guitarrist.

wes borland play in Black Light Burns

  • ya wes borland play in Black Light Burns.. this is solo performance in india for paramotoring yamaha new guitar

  • Relly? he looks and plays like him hmmm.. And I waz there to at show when he said this name is wes borland :-P

  • fuckin class, well in

  • hey great job posting this! i was there! was one of the few who managed to get past the security to talk with him and get his autograph.. maybe you shouldn't get your hopes up but he said he'll bring BLB back to Delhi..

  • luvly

  • This is awesome, but no hardcore LB fan would appreciate it cos he's not jumping around like an idiot or swearing. Wes is this shizz, I can't believe he turned down A Perfect Circle when they invited him. HOW COOL WOULD THAT HAVE BEEN?!

  • no Lyricaljust Wes Borland is nothing without Limp Bizkit... The only reason I went to his show bcoz i coudent make it 2 Iron Maiden's concert which waz in Bangalore a day b4 him .... DAM!!! i missed it!!

  • See I have to disagree with you there.. I think Fred Durst.. was just acting like a child constantly.. I mean with his over usage of profanity.. and with how his lyric writing went down hill.. I definitely feel like Wes Borland is better without Limp Bizkit even though yes.. he may not be as popular as he once was.. I just wish I could see him live.. I'm in Kansas City Missouri..

  • I think black light burns will be makin a 2nd cd, and they'll most likely tour around there. But that won't be til next year or so though.

  • any good musician is nothing without his band is a stretch.... all it really means is that we would not have known about a lot of these good players if they had not been in bands with supporting musicians. but it does not mean that they are no good without them. this is where i call you dumb. but you arent

  • yeah Wes Borland is the man.. Even though I fell out of interest with Limp Bizkit along time ago.. I still got love for Wes.. I just wish he would take these pieces and record them in the studio and release them on CD..

  • The song is called 'The Moment in Which You Realise You're Going To Fall' taken from his solo material; a.k.a. REAL music.
