One or two might look shiny but that's how they were when I got them.

you have a really nice collection there. i have my grandfathers trench knife that was made for him when he left. It is a knuckle duster knife with his name and tag numbers stamped on each side of the handle. Its a great piece and i plan to always have it.

I'd like to see your grandfather's knife. Please take good care of it because its value will only go up.

Make sure you keep it with any history you might have for it. Identified knives with good provenance are always worth a lot more to collectors. If you have a regular WWII knife with no history it might be worth a hundred bucks or more but with good history you can double the value easily.

To protect it from rust put a light coat of oil on the blade and other metal parts.
