Lol, of course I've heard those! I have them all on my iPod. I pretty much have all his music: Matter of Time, Blindsided, The Story Thus Far, Analog Heart. I even have Not Around and Red Hot from a demo of theirs.
I also have all of his albums! he's just so earnest in all of his songs, and the lyrics have such a strong truth to them, it astonishes me! I can't take it, LOL, it's like a David Cook OVERLOAD...

Sound man needs more training LOL sounds like the mic wasn't running into the sound board. I really wanted to hear the words, I could hear them when he punched it, but I am selfish and a bit spoiled when it comes to sound.The picking is clear as a bell though.

I have been trying to tell everybody since the beginning of the season that this guy is just flat out brilliant. This is an acoustic version of the song The Truth which is on Analog Heart, and is an AMAZING song that he wrote of course. Golden arrows called notes just fly out of that pretty mouth and pierce your heart and soul... Wow.

there sure is!! it's off his analog heart cd...not an acoustic version...which by the way is an incredible way for him to sing this one...for a brief moment before Idol you could get his songs online. They took it all off shortly there after. Hmmm...wonder why? LOL anywho...you should be able to search David Cook - The Truth and get some pretty good links. Good Luck!!!!

thanks very much for posting this as there's very little out there pre Idol with this kind of clarity. very nice. what a honey. you can't help but be happy for him. might rank as the nicest idol in 7 seasons. i see great things for this one. you can feel it. it seems like his reception this last week is MASSIVE compared to previous winners(course the show is getting bigger and bigger every year).

God help me, I go to sleep with his songs in my head and wake up to them too. I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall asleep again because he's there in my head. Is anyone else out there going through this? Please say I'm not alone-He's like a drug...

he has taken over my life. My bf thinks I am insane. Our whole DVR is filled with AI, everytime he comes in the office I have this video on and the play count on my itunes is just scary. I am madly in love with everything about him - his eyes and smile, his voice, his kindeness and intelligence, his jokes, how he moves. have you seen the tribute by crichoch? it's beautiful. I dont know who she is, but she is in the same boat as us. search for david cook + guardian angel - u will see what I mean.

I have been trying to tell everybody since the beginning of the season that this guy is just flat out brilliant. This is an acoustic version of the song The Truth which is on Analog Heart, and is an AMAZING song that he wrote of course. Golden arrows called notes just fly out of that pretty mouth and pierce your heart and soul... Wow.
And could he be more GORGEOUS in this vid???????
