T-90's are not as bad as many say. The T-90 export model gives the Russian produced T-90 a bad name. That being said, the Leo II A6 is really the best overall.
If I couldn't have any U.S. MBT or UK Challenger 2, the Russian T-90 or BE is a nice surrogate to fill the need. I mean either Russian MBT (T-90 and BE) potentially face the same threats in this world that its Western counterparts face, older Russian T-55's, 72's, and T-80's. Its unlikely the Russian T-90 or BE would ever have to face off with NATO tanks. And like previously mentioned, its more likely to face older Russian armor.

Great thing about Russian tanks is their small dimensions and relatively light weight combined with superb firepower and quite awesome manouverability. Especially after entrenching, they're a very difficult target. They suit Russian tactics pretty well, because they can be mass produced, mass used. Typical offensive tanks.

Why are you guys paragonating T-90 wit abrams? M1 must be paragonated with T-80 cause they both cold war main battle tanks. T-90 is a next gen tank. For info many western experts said that T-90 have same firepower and armor as M1 or better. But i also heard that t-90 have 125mm cannon when abrams have only 120mm

@dameion1975 M1 lighter??? M1 weights around 63 tons, while Russian tanks usually weight under 50 tons. And M1 is not so fast. For example both Serbian M84AS and Croatian M95 Degman tanks have top speed around 72 km/h, while M1 has around 60 km/h.
