I used Sony Vegas to get it out to the HD quality for the film (granted my monitor isn't that big to go that high to make it wide for the whole video :) )

Also recording to the highest resolution possible is good too but eats your hard drive space.

Hey man, ele shaman in a guild on 25 grand beasts here....Just curious If, in your opinion, a LvB->LB->LB etc rotation is better than a LvB->CL->LB->LB On single target? It seems like my DPS is pretty good throwing in CL but I've seen a lot of videos and people saying straight LB is better, Thankssss

That's more of a personal preference if you want to go LvB-LB rotation or LvB-CL-LB rotation on a single target. Both rotations net you the same DPS other than LvB-CL-LB will chew through your mana pool.

Personally, if the single target fight has me moving a lot, I'll put CL in my rotation because it is a faster cast than LB if LvB isn't up. Otherwise, I drop it in favor of preserving my mana longer with the use of Tstorm.

Thanks man, Appreiciate the opinion. I read that its best to use CL right after LB to proc....uh....crap I cant remember the name now....But what I was doing before would be CLx2 before the next lava burst but I suppose the big issue with that is mana efficiency.

Yea, you really want to use it after LvB for the Clearcast proc. 40% less mana cost on 2 spells is really nice.

dps has nothing to do with a boss soo yea ok one time in 25 toc i was doing only 5k dps but i was number one in damage, dps is just your roatation there were ppl doing 7.1k dps sure ok but when i looked at the damage they were 6th.... soo just to point that out a person who can hit the boss harder and with the constent crits screw dps when you have done more damage to a boss

4.7 is kind of weak. But without any mess ups should be fine.. My core group normally averages 5.8-6.5k, but theres always some screw ups that cause wipes:(

What was your groups' average DPS for Gormok?

Progression guild I ran with wiped a few times (eventually giving up) with everyone's DPS being 4.7k+.

Specifically when the video was made, our normal WoL recorder didn't catch Northrend Beasts that week but recorded everything after that encounter.

Individual average DPS being 5.9k for the whole fight. I'm not entirely sure where to break the WoL log down for specifically just Gormok.
