  • But more importantly, I think that the point is being missed...how does one stop dangerous environmental progress? Does protesting even really work anymore? Yes... in a nonviolent way; it puts people out into the public's cynical and cow-brained minds...and hopefully they see that some are willing to look a little foolish to make a point about the need for drastic change to our nation's environmental agendas.

  • And so what? we took cars and trains and planes to the convention - which uses the energy sources we are working to rid. O'Reilly used a similar straw man to discredit Powershift, but what a dumb and irrelevant point to make. I have to admit, I was a bit embarrassed that it may seem pie in the sky...but hell, I am proud that I went and made my voice one of many working against the killing of our only planet.

  • "Useful idiots" is a term to suggests that we were led around by a group of terrorist or communistic organizational persons, and also that really we were just human puppets for another person's agenda. But being a person that neither asked anyone to do anything nor was asked to do anything, I can't say I would categorize these people who really care about a cause as "Useful Idiots."

  • Thank You. You are amazing. I appreciate your important action.

GOD SPEED *100% clean energy economy and a more sustainable future.

  • These people need to turn the power off in their house...

They need to remove all their synthetic clothes and shoes...

They need to remove the "natural" clothes that were delivered in trucks..

They need to eat nothing but what they grow in their backyard....

One wonders how they got to DC? Did they walk? Not likely....

and where did the power come from that runs the loudspeakers they use?

Yes.. a sad collection of Lenin's "Useful Idiots"....

  • @vidkidxyz You and I have no say over where our energy comes from. We can't take public transportation across the country to DC. We don't have the time or money to grow our own food.

And would doing ANY of those INDIVIDUAL actions have any impact on the policies of corporations like BP, like GenOn, like the Big Coal companies? Would it pressure them to invest in clean energy? Would it pressure them to pay their debts owed for the destruction of people's health, air and water?

  • @vidkidxyz And would it pressure them to pay the unpayed taxes they owe to our country?

  • How are THEY NOT killing us??? 9/11 TRUTH PEOPLE!!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!! THEY poison us with everything. Water, food, lighting, sex, education, news, transportation. You can't even eat the fish anymore. This shit is nothing to dance in the streets about. It's time for revolution. THEY POISON OUR MINDS!!!! They have stunted our growth spiritually. They have stolen the wealth of this country and our prosperity for more than a CENTURY! It is your DUTY as an American citizen to resist!!!

  • These people are what Lenin referred to as "Useful Idiots".....
