I've met a male lesbian,
so I suppose it might be possible for a lesbian to be a homophobe - except l am not.
ldentifying as lgbtq, means living one's own truth, and respecting the truth of others. Talking shit is one thing, but doing so with the salutation 'respectfully' is stomach churning, fatuous and disingeuous.
We do seem to agree on one thing though - and only one bc l hate tarantino's repertoire of torture porn -
we both believe in the sublime beauty of Brandi's art.

I'm pretty sure she's talking about the fact that most people say her songs are sad and she is saying that this song is happier. That's why the audience laughs (along with Brandi) about the line "for you, I would happily drown".

every time i see her on video i kick myself for not knowing her better before i met her...and saw her in a ridiculously intimate setting in my hometown-seriously like 15 people. got to talk to her...didn't know who she really was back then...man.
