I think you should start darkening your eyebrows with a taupe eyebrow pencil or something a little more brown-y because they look so gray all the time and it makes your face look washed out. On this video your eyebrows look great but in a lot of the others they looked a little mauled over by your foundation or perhaps just a gray eyebrow pencil.

There are also a few other bad chemicals you should stay away from, I'll just list their numbers: 1, 3, 6 and 7 (marked as PET/PETE, PVC, PS and PC/PLA). They are just as bad as BPA, just not as talked about!

The safe ones are 2, 4 and 5 (also marked as HDP/HPDE, LDPE and PP), so be sure to only use those. :)

I heard that BPA only really seeps out of the plastic if the plastic is heated past a certain point and that if the bottle stays room temperature it is fine. (like if you leave your water bottle out in the sun at the beach, or leave it in your car on a hot day, or wash it in the dishwasher). Although the last time I read about that was in an article dated 2008. Did you happen to read anything newer about that?

kind of random but people should check Nailpolish remover bottles. A lot have BPA in them and if it gets into the product, it can be absorbed into your skin

@girlwiththecellphone that means that the bottle is made of PET, polyethylene terephtalate. The number shows which plastic it is and it's recycling way. Sometimes it says PET below the trigle. Triangle with a 7 on it just means 'Other'. 1-6 are the most common polymers, 7 means it is not one of the top 6. 7 does not always mean BPA.

It dosnt work hun i have literaly been on every single acne pill or substitute out there and the only one that worked for me is acutane. Really harsh treatment, but it really works. I was clear in 2 months. And i had BADDDD acne. Its worth it and it dosnt mess up your hormones like the birth control does. :-)

But it is possible. The numberings are used to show what polymer the package is made of and how it should be recycled.

@RemainsOfTheN It just means every other polymer plastic that can be used which are not included in the polymers 1-6. It is possible that 7 contains BPA, but that is not the case always. Also the triangle shows how the plastic should be recycled.

People, please don't freak out about the #7 plastic. #'s 1-6 are just classifications of polymer the plastic is made from(polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride,polyethylene terephthalate,ect.) #7 means that the type of plastic is not abundant enough to have their own classification. Usually, when plastic is recycled, it is made into a #7 plastic, because it's a mish mash of a bunch of different plastic. Most plastics are #7. While they could have bpa, just be cautious and don't freak out.

I have just studied plastics in graphics ;)

Tri 1 = PET, used in coke bottles

Tri 2 = HDPE, used for buckets ect as its flexible yet strong

Tria 3= PVC, window frames, pipes, some clothes as it can be rigid or flexible and has a GOOD CHEMICAL RESISTANCE!

Tri 4 = LDPE , used for carrier bags

Tri 5 = polypropylene used for mp3 players, phones

tri 6 = POLYSTRENE, packaging ect

tri 7= other plastics this contrains ACYRLIC mainly, so check your nails its hard, scratch resistant & shiny xox

As a research scientist my opinion would be that I think you should be very cautious when making these kind of videos. I think you should consider that these studies that raised concern about BPA were undertaken in rodents and raised concerns during neurological development so in children, infants and foetuses and not adults these studies have different endpoints and are still very inconclusive in terms of the effect on humans and many questions still have to be answered before making claims th

Cass, just wondering. I've been watching you compulsively recently, I'm from Scotland so a lot of the products you use isn't as common or popular over here.

But the products you use like OPI and MAC regularly, is it worth spending more on those products than spending a bit less on something else? I mean is MAC good enough to spend that much on. :) I usually use MaxFactor but want to grow into more mature make up. I'm 19.

Yes, its critically important to check for the recycle # on the bottom of all plastics that we use, not just bottles. You can find the good #s and bad #s online. REMEMBER THOUGH, its not just important to know this number, its important to use cosmetics that are made in the U.S. or safe european countries only.
