  • I installed a kit two days ago, took two hours.

Just an oil seep (minor) at lower hose fitting closest to oil filter end.

All four hose ends have a 1/16th inch hole drilled through them, no idea why as these kits are pre-assembled and come this way, in a completely sealed package.

The seeping fitting has a drilled hole on the bottom and that's where the oil seems to be originating from.

It's a double fitting with a lock nut and I'm not sure how to disassemble to get plumbers tape around it.

  • They all say its an easy job but actually there was not much space between the external filter and the brake fluid which was kind of a problem.

This is something i tried doing by myself but after adding the oil once job was done i had a huge oil leak. At this point i was so frustrated that i called the mechanic to toe the bike and do it for me.

What took me about 3 hours, took the mechanic 20 minutes.

Sometimes its better off to pay few bucks and let someone else get it done for you.
