The Russian pairs are also amazing and deserving athletes. I doubt you can even imagine the amount of effort, discipline, and sacrifice they have to put forth to achieve the level of being elite Olympic athletes. I'm amazingly happy and proud of the couples that medalled (Shen and Zhao happen to be my favorites), but that does not mean the Russians deserve any less respect. Let's be proud of all them and congratulate them for their effort.

This is absolutely disgusting!!! Ye, they lost their lucky star on this competition, but they are together just for 3,5 years. The fourth place is a real success.We wish our pair to win, but what is done can't be changed. We should support them. I'm totally agree with Marianna7Dreamer , we love them anyway!!! But what is this video for, I haven't understood. This video just represents your absolute lack of manners, of respecting others!!! I wish YOUTUBE would delete it!!!!

I am sure that the Russian skating level is still very. high.

Russian coaches are absolutely wonderful. They teach skaters from various nationalities. As far as I know Russians are quite broad minded. The Russian fans were supporting Yuko even though she was not a Russian national.

My heart goes out to Yoko as so no doubt blames herself for loosing. None of the Russian pairs did well and so much was expected of them both. This is not what the Olympic Games are about and I hope she continues to skate. In fact almost everyone fell except for the Chinese and have nothing to be ashamed of. If Russia would quit putting unrealistic pressure on it's athlete's then maybe they would perform better. I hope we see them again as would be a shame if this ends it all.

They've been skating together only for 4 years and already in the fourth place at the Olympics. What they need is more time and experience. Aside from their mistakes, classic beauty in their skating and delicate interpretation of music are something no other skaters possess. You'll see.
