This is purely a race track incident and that's where it should stay. You sign the same weaver as everyone else, so you know what can happen. Race or practice, we all acknowledge the possibility, intentional or not. Intentional acts may bring a unpleasant response of varying intensities, on or off the track and this should be expected by the offending party. Spencer has always said the craziest sh!t but he's a great guy all the same.
Secondly. There was no repass attempt. That was actually in slow motion. Spies passed closely ran wide into Knutsons track space while they were both on the brakes. Spies fault, but in racing this is fair game, was not intentional, and a better rider than Knutson may have been able to avoid him. I agree with racing incident.
knutson had no where to go. he couldnt go any wider, no more track. hes not going to break to hard, may lose the front end. spies pushed him out to wide and it was reckless, but it looked fucking cool.
Spies is boss . This is a racing incident . The lapped rider should have been paying more attention and getting off Spies' line . Go on Ben , get that WSBK championship , and be the first to do it in your rookie year !
Looks like Ben misjudged because he went by and was running alot quicker so he moved over and Tim was trying to stay off the very edge of the track. Looks like it's just racing. The funny thing is to listen to Freddie Spencer. I'm not sure what he is on but "looks like a mice sliding". He will say crazy stuff all the time. ramble, ramble, oh look a chicken. It's hard to watch the race with him talking because he makes no since.
saying spies took him out would be wrong. Ben was lapping him so first off the blue flag shoudl have been waved and he should have gotten the hell out of the way. Second, he showed a wheel and had the inside line which means that track is his. Third it almost looked like a repass attempt on the brakes, in which case per the rules it's the passing riders responsibility to make a safe and clean pass. Ben wasn't at fault at all
This crash was during the 7th lap of the first practice session of the weekend. There was a waving yellow flag for DiSalvo's crash in the next corner. There is no passing allowed, per the rules, under a waving yellow. Also, there are no blue flags during AMA SuperBike practice session.
@die996 Maybe after you pull your head out of your ass, you can go buy yourself a clue. Asshole.

Firstly "ice sliding"... not "mice sliding".

Why would Knutson crash into him like that? His testies took over and he tried to brake too deep.
