I liked this band a lot around the time this vid was made. I may have have been on of the 3 people who bought "Static Prevails" in 1996. This vid came out in 1999 and is kind of a rip off of a video Promise Ring made in 1997. Then Davey ends up with a vocal on the "Bleed American" album. During the last chorus, they repeat it again as it fades out, whereas the album version has the drum loop going until it gets to "Your New Asthetic." Also, during the bridge, "Why can't I learn?" is repeated and is more in the mix than it is on the album version.

First of all, to dededirnt.... Bleed America sucks ass. He's one of those guys that goes to a concert to hear the one song he knows from the radio. I've seen Jimmy twice in concert and they hate those people. Lucky Denver Mint is a sweet song. Great video, but it makes me think the point is that no matter how good you are, there's always someone better than you. Eh. True, I guess. Five stars, I guess.

Jimmy Eat World was not labeled "emo" for their first album, it is a pop-punk genre. Static Prevails (1996) stuck them with the "emo" label.
