Tagine recipes are all over the place, meshwi can be easily replicated in a normal oven.

Its simple, good food. Just make sure you get good fresh ingredients, and the right cuts.

The spices are in every supermarket too.

Everyone eats together (typically) in the middle-east. In Palestine for example, elders are served first, then wives, then husbands and men, then children. All at the same table. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened in Morocco. When a large number of guest are over, usually men and women are separated.

As an American, I kinda feel like we are missing out on certain aspects of life, such as fresh kill meat and using all of it- nothing goes to waste in other countries. I don't eat much fast food but most meat we buy is pre-processed. Such is the way of industrialized nation that no one should envy.

The taste of fresh kill meat is extraordinary, but if you ever get the chance to try it, make sure it isnt old lol old meat can be very chewy, something my grandad in morocco taught me :)

Let me enlighten you  little my friend!! The first inhabitants of Morocco were berbers. The first arab/muslim that set foot on Morocco was Moulay Idriss around 700 AD. He was fleeing from the middle east and came to Morocco with not more than a hundred men. Since the berbers were pagans, he introduced Islam and got married to a Berber princess. Then for your information that Empire grew and fought the Christians who were persecuting the Jews and other minorities.
