yea, the various tiny voices and neat little pulses in the sound track really set this game apart in my mind, like it had its own distinct flavor like Donkey Kong or Earthbound.

Fun Fact, this game was made by Enix and Treasure, Treasure is still around and was made by former Konami Members and Enix has had a merger with Square soft since then, meaning still technically around. do you know what this means? it means those guys should get off their butts from making Bleach games and making Kingdom Hearts more confusing (respectively) and MAKE A SEQUEL TO THIS GAME!

I don't give a flying fuck about new KH games, they can make them, sure, but what I really want is a sequel to Mischief Makers. Now THAT would be great for them, Retro and N64 gamers like me would LOVE a sequel to MM.

@rhapsodythebest I like Kingdom Hearts, but at the moment we got 1, 2, COM, BBS, and Coded, we're good for the moment, they can make a sequel to a retro game. They did it for Klonoa, now all they have to do is make sure the voice actors sound the right age and dont make any major gameplay changes and voila

@PwNeDoScAr well, Klonoa was a Cabbit (Cat - Rabbit cross) and its hard to tell his age, except he sounds like a 4 year old in his Phanotmilian voice, Marina is actually humanoid looking at least, plus I doubt they'll get the professor an unfitting voice. I hope they least add more stages with that guy who punches stuff, that guy was epic.

I don't think a sequel should be made, due to the fact that most people would never get to play the original if it would be released.

However if they remake this and put in the same amount of care into the game play and soundtrack as they did here, we could have a winner!

hmm yeah. i think it would fit well onto the PSP (even though i dont own one lol) or being rereleased through the Wii shop channel alongside all the other retro games. (maybe the DS too but i dont want them to get too 'touchscreen happy' and end up ruining it haha)

Lol I agree with the Ds worries.

I think they should just remake it for the Wii (as the Wii would be the console to most likely get a remake) and offer the choice to have classic controls.

However we might be screwed over in remaking plans due to average reviews this masterpiece got from people who just didn't get the inner genius of this game.

The Wii-mote would be perfect for this game, I agree. Shaking and other events with grabbing could be easily combined with the Wii mote, as you could act like you got the item in your hands yourself
