I first found this on screwattack and loved it. But there is just one thing that i don't agree with. I don't necessarily think that you have to have grown up the same period the games were made. Even though i was raised in the N64 and Playstation era, i still had an NES with SMB3. I just wanted to say that there are "real gamers" out there even if they are a bit young.

Just play the games you enjoy. This song is just a perspective of someone who was there when it was happening...and now looking back. We all go through it, whether you grew up and a new music style came out or new media...whatever. There's always gonna be somethin you'll look back on and say "Damn, this new shit just doesn't stand up to the good ol days"

Amazing video guys, loads of talent. I'm only 16, but I still remember going to my grandmas house almost everyday to play Super Mario Bros 3. When she gave me her NES it was the happiest day of my life. The 64 came next, I completley missed out on the SNES but I'm slowly catching up now.
But thank you anyway because this song expressed exactly what i think when i go out and i listen to these "damn kids" who say they played the nes and that "teh gr4phik$ were bad so it sucks compared to halo roflmaol0l0 haxxx, ...".
I am not better than them sometimes, because i started gaming in the late 16 bit era, but atlast i still love these old games and i really think this generation of console sucks.

loved it, i remember when i had the NES, i was about 4-6 years old back then so i dont have alot of memories of it, but dang those memories i have are realy strong!
I went back and played Mega Man X (last time I played that I was 4 or 5) and jesus, all this Halo and Bioshock made me a pussy! It took me 10 tries to beat the first level (I went with the octopus dude). Shit puts God of War to shame as far as difficulty goes. And it's hella fun still.
I came back to this video expecting it to have 100k+ views, it deserves it.
