do both franchises have videogames AND either anime series or films? or is the 2D animation developed by only one company?

Professor Layton already has its own feature animated film. Ace Attorney only has one live-action film in the works. It seems Level 5 is taking over the animation.  So the 2D animation is likely to be run on Level 5's side. Level 5 is doing most of the work on this one but the director of the Ace Attorney Series, Shu Takumi, is scripting the scenarios in the game.
