Besides the wave knocking him over, this man and everyone else standing nearby are sure lucky the water didn't suck them over the side. Attractions like this are best observed from a distance. The attitude from locals here is stupid. Sure, HI has tourists from all over the world. TWA had customers and many went to Freedom Land in NY from all over the world. Neither are in business because of the "we got other customers, don't need you" attitude. Rather than educating people who are unfamiliar with the ocean, you're just bashing them. well, when tourists show up at my home and act like I should worship them because of their "support," and they treat the local people, attractions, etc like garbage, then of course I will also have this attitude. It is well deserved. I do not live in Maui, but I live in an area that has a heavy tourism trade, and we deal with the same thing.
