i no what u mean tis my child hood right there at my uncles, i wanted nnothin more than to finish this and he didnt have a memory card so we had to start all over again each tim econstantly goin to ireland to beat that damn sheep and then syria - didnt realise on the greaspaint stautue thing lol we combined everything or so we thought i think i was about 9 at the time 10 or 11 not too sure one of the al time greats even for a hardcore shooter fan like my self ^^

Pues en el Vista ni idea, en XP se puede cambiar la compatibilidad de los archivos a windows 95.

its got to be the most remarkable game i've eva come across,from 96 to the present,it was so effortlessy guineus,the charaters,the locations,the side splitting sarcasm and of course as you all rightly point out the 2d animated graphics (first 2),they just came across so genuine and the story really engrossing,it just would'nt let u turn it off till u knew wat happened next,no other game has eva had that profound effect on me,i'l always remember it the way it used to be.

I think it's the BEST adventure game of ALL time no two ways about it i think the first one is the best in comparison to the others i played which was up to the sleeping dragon unfortunately i havent played the rest but can't wait to do so AND watch the film when it comes out. This game brings back sooo many memories too when i first played it when i was about 10 or so back in 1999 or some time around then

simply the best graphic adventure game... ever. fantastic story, simple control interface, brilliant game. one of my fave games of all time and i am fussy.

the da vinci code film reminds me of this. i just hope the people doing the movie of Broken Sword does not sully the fans memories.

Phew, what a game. I was young kid when I got into it first time. I hardly realised a thing about it but it was still so special to me. I played it through few years later when I was older and what an amazing trip it was. Perhaps the best game ever, save for that bloody goat, it was a big flaw, but still perhpas the best game.

there was a guy sellin kebabs , he was using a toilet brush as a cooking utensil and u need the brush to give to the bar owner upstairs 4 his toilet , so u get bribe the kid with the ball to get the toilet brush , great game , love it , hate the 3d 1's tho , spoilt it !

haha i highly agree but when u work it out u feel like a plonker as theers only 2 items u can interact with so it had to to use them in a certain combination , i think u try to go down the trap door , the goat makes u fall over but before he returns to his place u click the farming equipment to trap the goats lead ! bingo !

Hi Kierlock - no game is quite like Broken Sword but there are some other point n click adventures that I'm sure you'd like.

Try Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2 - they are top draw.

Another similar game is Terry Pratchet's Discworld, a highly rated title. These games are available on both PC and PS1 formats.

And if your PC can hack it definitely buy Broken Sword 3 - its brilliant!

Hi Clozex - if you have a Nintendo DS the first Broken Sword has been released on this format.

But don't buy a DS for the sake of playing BS1, you can get the original PC or PS1 title from Amazon for under £5!

It wasn't only this, do you remember how in depth the first 2 were? If you did something wrong the game would see your point of view and George would give some type of explanation telling you why you were wrong. In the new games all you would get is a shrug of the shoulders or something like that. There is no doubt in my mind they rushed the 3-d versions but they should have kept the same style of graphics also.

Dude why would you wanna watch a speedrun of Broken Sword? The story is far too rich to just be rushed through. Plus it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to people who hadn't played it before because to get the fasted time possible you'd have to skip all the dialog.

Yeah, that would be pretty cool. Sometimes I go back and play over again, even though I know the answers to all the puzzles already, because I love the plot, but unfortunatly I can't get my copy to reinstall on my damn computer! The setup program keeps saying I don't have enough free space on my harddrive, but I have 7.25GB or something, and that's definatly more than enough.
