The highest energy factory load i've found for the 460 is 2402. the 500 has 2877. more than 400 ft lbs more, not a lot but still more. Also i have 22 LR shells that have a velocity of 1640 ft/sec and 45 acp shells that are 840 ft/sec. And if you know what either of these two guns are you'll know that velocity doesn't mean as much as you think it does.
