Mike Jeffries planeted the drugs on Hendrix, cuz he knew that it was Hendrix that would be searched at the boarder. so that Jefffries' luggage would be overlooked in the investigation. it was probably done in conjunction of the local Canadian "authorieties". probably negotiated in advance.

Mike Jeffries was a scumbag extraordinaire.

Hendrix wasn't any more in to drugs than any of his contemporaries at the time (ie: jimmy page, eric clapton, pete townsend etc.)

it was because Hendrix was causing a real global revolution, that he was demonized, and in the end, it was people close to him, who were responsible for his murder
