Going into Iraq was correct for numerous reasons: Saddam supported terrorism, had closed borders. Saddam was the biggest terrorist threat, more than Bin Ladin because he had a country they could train in.

Saddam had WMDs, but Bush took so much time getting U.N. and Democrat support, Saddam had a year to get rid of them.

Iraq, now, instead of having a dictator that actually used WMDs on his own people, have a democracy.

I'm not talking about cowardly politicians supporting it. There was a grassroots protest every month against the war, and for some reason it didn't get the same coverage as the tea baggers. Especially since we didn't have some political commentator on tv urging people to join the protests, the way Glenn Beck did.

I'm not ridiculous. Overwhelming support does not make something smart. It cost a whole lot of money, and more importantly, a whole lot of lives. Not that the right cares.
